@grbolivar It will last probably until 2020, so if I can let it turned on all this time, this is great news. There are no PC's that last so long without upgrades, but consoles are supported with games running at the machine's full capacity until the end of their lives.
We have 78 million Xbox 360 and 78,4 million PS3 sold to date and people are happy with it. They don't care about every new technology companies shove up our asses saying it is a MUST BUY because YOU NEED IT. Have fun spending thousands of dollars on a gaming rig because it have prettier visuals while we play Halo 4, The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, GTA V and so on.
@Hop103 @Geardudu @evil_snuggles Yes, video capture devices are supported since Xbox 360 and will continue on One. You had to do some tricks with the PS3 for that to work and there's still no word about it on the PS4.
@wdma @Geardudu @evil_snuggles You have your head on the pre-180 Xbox One and is afraid to admit it is a great console now. You only look at the PS4 blinded by it's huge useless light on the back of the controller. You'll use dumb, outdated arguments to prove your choice is the best. I feel really, really sad for you.
@evil_snuggles It doesn't matter Xbox has Snap, Smart Match, Live, Skype, TV, evolving achievements, a great line-uo, the best controller, DVR or anything. PS3.5 will always be your favorite console, even if that only means improved hardware from PS3.
Face it: there's nothing PS4 does that Xbox One can't do.
@evil_snuggles every online feature on the Xbox requires Gold, that's not news to anyone. You pay Gold for things like multiplayer and get the other stuff.
@evil_snuggles That's the best argument you guys have now that the Xbox owns PS4? What's even the matter here? Everyone will be paying for online multiplayer both for One and PS4, so DVR come as a plus. And I bet it will require Plus on PS4 also to restrict 5~15 min HD videos being uploaded for free by every living soul that bought the console (Youtube does that but fills you with ads)
