@Rayzakk Xbox is actually at #1, but that's because there are 5 versions of the PS4. Still, One is having strong sales when you consider the amount of hate the internet have expressed the last few days. Last week I saw a report that for each 3 PS4, 2 Ones are sold (40%). The problem is that most of the people just comment when they're complaining, so the painted scenario is much worse than reality.

I'm sure PS4 will outsell One (mainly because 360 won part by piracy and because of those who haven't a reliable internet connection), but it will certainly not be an failure at all.

@Celsius765 @sja28 @FULGOREY2K Basically, Steam for consoles that actually let you lend and give your games. And if this is true, you and a friend can play the same game at the same time, like you were getting 2 copies for the price of one

@jts1891 A blockbuster game that reaches the entire world, even those who doesn't own a 360, and it's $40 cheaper can't outsell it, what are you trying to say?

They're bundling it because Kinect is a big part of the console. Instead of saying "hey, you'll get a better experience buying Kinect", they can say "you'll get a better experience because you already have a Kinect".

@jts1891 Tomb Raider had the best launch in the franchise, and it's only considered a failure by Square Enix by absurd expectations. Bioshock Infinite sold around 5/6 millon copies, but we're talking about a $60 game that was released for PS3, 360 and PC by Steam, a service that reaches every corner of the world.

So, again, a success.

@dem5000 @lifemeister Indeed, it appeals more to the casual market. People buy it mainly to play games like Just Dance, not for controlling the menus.

But one good thing about it coming bundled is that now hardcore games developers can count that their market actually owns Kinect, so they can implement it on their games.

@jts1891 It's still a lot, and 360 is around since 2006.

@jts1891 @lifemeister Kinect sold more than 10 million units and it's the fastest selling device in history, so yeah, I would call that a success.

I know Kinect had a poor hardware to support the games we wanted to see, but Kinect 2.0 hands-ons/previews are saying it's a great improvement.

@kasumi45 @Geardudu @bunchanumbers @lifemeister Seems to be only this june, and exclusively to North America. Btw, part of these Instant Collection games are for Vita, a handleheld without enough good games.

@kiramasaki Sony spent half of the conference talking about PS3 + on stage talking + media services because they've showed most of their games at the PS4 reveal.
