I seriously doubt it's for real. Come on, Sony is japanese, they said that they would announce, was it 11 exclusive games for the PS3? And now some people claim that there won't be a Sony conference? If there isn't, how the hell are they going to announce those games then? Stand on a table and yell to the crowd?
Yes, unfortunately for the series, there will be a merchant in the game. Or are those money that the "zombies" drop in the gameplay video used to wipe asses with?
