Compare to if 50,000 torrent UT3...and the game has only sold 40,000. I know that's not the exact number, but it's the proportion that I'm talking about. 360 games SELL, so it's not such a big blow to developers.

And those sales figure are for two weeks....the games are bound to sell more.

The reason the sims and WoW do well is cause you can play those games on crappy PC hardware. People play WoW and The Sims on laptops.

Plenty of PC games sell 1 million every year aswell, but im talking about the ones that push past that.

PC games vastly out-sell console games all the time. That's just the way things are. I wouldn't expect it to change any time soon.

PC games sell good when they hit the bargain bin and the section for PC games at Walmart and Gamespot is puny. PC developers make money off of advertising hardware "best on Nvidia" "use a Dual core intel extreme".

After developing a game on the PC it's easy to port the game to the 360 and make money off of the many console gamers that buy games all the time.

Come to think of it, 360 2007 was pretty poor from my perspective, other than Halo 3 & Mass effect, I didnt see any exclusives worth getting, and ofcourse I didnt get no multiplats for it.

2008 though, Im loving the look of 2008 and no doubt my 360 will actually be cleaned up from all the dust in the corner :P 20008, alot more non-FPS related excellent games.

I would say 2008 is all-round better than 2007 for PC.PS3,Xbox360 , mainly because well this year had loads of high quality games but the bulk of them were shooters.

The Witcher and Crysis is the only games I bought for the PC this year. My 360 I bought lots more, but I do have lots of friends from offline that have 360s and we love XBL.

More like 100's . I just looked at ME and about 700 for that which is not as bad as 24,000 for Crysis.

The 360 has lots of games in 08.

Heres the ones buying:

GTA4, RSV2, NG2, GeOW2, Fable 2, Too Human, Kingdom Under FIre, DMC4, RE5 and I'm sure there will be a lot others I will get.

Ok , GTA 4 , RE5 & Gears 2 ... the rest maybe million sellers, but thats all really.

Burnout, Madden 09, Tom Clancy's End war.......

There is tons of games coming out in 08
