Yeah, I tried just bypassing it. I downloaded a few demos. And then went back to the main PS3 menu and "account management" tried entering my card there.....INVALID

Ha, I can't do much with another language. So.....I bypassed the signup by just...not entering my credit info. And now I'm trying to enter it in the account management screen....and it's saying....."your payment info is invalid, check again"......or something to that effect. I've tried every combination of everything I can find. Everything is exactly the same, and nothing. I've seen lots of posts about this but no real answers.

Gah, it's already 12:30..........horrible.

Just to rephrase, it was giving me the "YOUR PAYMENT INFO IS INVALID" screen, but I got past that. This is after it accepts everything...it's just an error right at the end.

At first it was the caps, and then it was the spacing, I finally got that all right, and then at the very last screen, it gives me this message:

Error: Result: API_Result_FAIL_BAD_PARAMS_INVALID_PAYMENT_INFO

Extremely frustrated. 10 mins with my new PS3 and it's already making me angry. I only got it because they're phasing out the emotion engine. Guh.

Any help is appreciated.

-Cheers

So, my roommate can have his gamertag. And I can have my gamertag. All on the same system. If I'm playing Mass Effect, lets say I'm halfway through it.....would you suggest I save my game to the memory unit so he and I don't get our saves tangled? And then when I get the new 360, I can just toss that save data on the card to the new HDD?....and then recover my gamertag on the new console and I should be good to go with a new 360, my gamertag, and my Mass Effect save?

Actually, I just went through my savedata, and there's nothing I really want to keep. I basically just want to know if I can have my gamertag on my buddies 360......play masseffect on his 360, save my game to his 360, and then, when I get a new one, move all my stuff to my new 360. OR, would I have to have my gamertag, and masseffect game saves on a memory unit. Also, could I recover my gamertag on HIS 360, and then move it to a memory unit??......guhhhhh.

Oh, and would I have to toss all my data from my 360 now onto a card, or can I just retrieve it from his 360 and then put it on a memory unit.

So many variables.....I've had tons of problems switching 360's.....why does microsoft have to make it so friggin difficult.
