Never got past the first village area. I had to kill a bunch of glowing dogs and I really did not liking the combat system. I've heard it get's much better though, so I might give it another shot for the story at least.

Here is a YT video of what the Radiant AI was going to be when the game was just going to be for PC.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fdvoTcY_rU&feature=channel

Notice the better/different voices and longer more natural conversations? Notice how you got a quest to go to the 'battle for Kvatch' - ever had that in your game? What about the way the woman and dog interact? Seen anything like that in the game either?

The Radiant AI had to be simplified in order to still have the hi resolution graphics. For console it was one or the other. For PC it could have been both, and if Oblivion had been for PC only, what you see in this video is what you would have got. More voice actors, longer conversations, and the Radiant AI that was talked about up until the game went 'multiformat'.

A picture is worth a 1,000 words, this video of Oblivion while still in pre-production shows what we PC gamers lost when the game went to multiformat, and is an example to what we have been losing ever since to one degree or another.

I could swear on my mother's grave that you've posted this same exact thing several times throughout the years. Plus I've seen comments on other websites by a person named humor_guy bashing Oblivion. I agree with your sentiment, but you've just got to let it go man. Move on with your life.

Air cooling will suit your needs just fine, water cooling is an unnecessary risk. Leaks happen.

I found the elf mage to be the most fun to play, then the warrior, then the rogue. I always kept a rogue in my party, but mainly just for lockpicking.

I thought the ending would have been awesome if they would have actually let you fight him instead of the same old goons you'd been fighting throughout the entire game. Shooting your batclaw thing (or whatever it was) at him and then punching him in the face a few times was really lame.

I would only recommend this game to somebody I hate. It's just not a fun game.

I don't think this generation is any less intelligent than previous generations, if anything they're more intelligent because of improvements in school curriculum and advancements in technology. In my parents day and age, the personal computer was still a thing of the future, and algebra was just being introduced in most high schools. College was something only the smartest kids even conidered. My dad still doesn't even know how to use a computer or solve an algebraic equation. I do think that this generation's work ethic has suffered somewhat though, mainly because of advancements in technology.

Are you serious? You can't be. 14 minutes after my reply to him he realized that his reply wasn't "clear enough". And thus changed it to make my entire point about him being amused moot. No "bud", he changed his reply because he realized his original point about his 18 spankings with a paddle being amusing was stupid, and that he really doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He's simply trying to discredit me by changing his previous statement.

Razor-Lazor

 Alrighty then. Calm down, it's no big deal.

lol, I don't mean to offend, I just got a little worked up

It's fine. Let's just get back on topic. ;)

I think I've done enough damage to this thread for one day :) My appologies to Corwinn, didn't mean to make it personal.
