In a game like World of Warcraft, a quest may ask you to get 10 daggers from bandits in the area. (I just made that up, too lazy to look for an example, but there are quests like it in WoW) But like 1 out of every 10 bandits actually drop a dagger. I CAN SEE THEIR CORPSE HOLDING ONTO THE BLADE! ARE THEY HOLDING ONTO THEIR BLADES SO TIGHTLY THAT I CAN'T TAKE IT FROM THEM EVEN IN DEATH? DO THEY HAVE TITAN'S GRIP? You get the idea. Every mob you kill should drop the item you need, but only a few do.

I was playing Sonic 06 a few days ago and thought about the springs in the hub world. Who decided to put springs in the middle of a city? Did they know Sonic was coming and thought "Maybe Sonic will want to reach the rooftop. Good thing I have this giant spring for just this occasion!"

It's funny to think about video game logic. I guess that's kinda why Mega64 makes their videos about video games in real life.

I'd have to give it to Tales of Xillia. I'm the only person who thinks that way though. :\

It's one of the few 2013 releases I actually bought.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance

They could've just left it at "Metal Gear Rising" and it would've sounded much cooler! haha

It's still a really great game though.

So far, I can't tell a difference between PS3 and PS4 games.

In terms of technical detail, I don't think graphics can get much better. I think developers should just work on making their games more innovative and explore more unique concepts rather than working on making their game look more visually impressive.

My honest opinion is that the levels of detail we had on the PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox was enough.

The only thing that bothers me about the Steambox is the controller.

Trackpads instead of analog sticks? really?

I'm trying to imagine playing games with trackpads and I can't imagine it being fun...

It's hard for me to decide between Tales of Xillia, and Tales of Graces. They're both amazing games.

Picked up the collectors edition today! So worth it!

I gotta support my favorite series.

In today's gaming industry, full of generic, uninspired games, it's always really nice when an original game like Tales of Xillia is released. :D

I'm loving Xillia so far. I wasn't sure at first how I felt about them getting rid of sidestepping, a very useful gameplay mechanic in Graces. But as it turns out, the combat system is still mad fun in its own way. They've added some nice features to make it feel fresh.

Looks like they've delivered another amazing game. I'd expect no less from the Tales series. :)

Oh, and also. Did they REALLY air an English commercial in the US?? A JRPG relevant in the mainstream??? Unheard of! lol

[QUOTE="GeoffZak"]

I like anime for the legendary fight scenes that have incredible animation like this:

Or this:

And they have incredible plots. Maybe if you were to actually watch some anime, you'd understand.

cain006

Most anime have pretty bad plots. Hell the only stories I can think of in terms of manga/anime that are really great are REAL and Monster.

I'm guessing mostly because of the long nature of manga most manga that start out good in terms of story slowly turn into mediocre or shit. Some examples are 20th Century Boys, Berserk, and Wandering Son.

You're not watching the right animes if you think most of them have bad plots. Monster is an amazing anime with a really great plot, I agree.

But also try watching one of these:

  • Attack on Titan
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Samurai Champloo
  • Death Note
  • Cowboy Bebop
  • Stein's;Gate
  • Ghost Hound
  • Baccano
  • Angel Beats (The one in my sig. It's one of the saddest animes I've ever watched.)

[QUOTE="zeroyaoi"] So it's the art style that bugs you? SNIPER4321
style, story, setting, animation. everything i mean they are too girly. and im mature man who play hardcore PC games and watch action movies...

I know you're just a troll, but I guess it's funny.

"mature man." XD

I know I'm probably wasting my time, but I've always said that part of being an adult is not caring about what other people think about the things you enjoy.

I like vocaloid, I'm not afraid to admit it. You don't? You think it's too girly for a guy to like? Well that's your loss. Anyone can enjoy vocaloid.

I also like "manly" animes like Attack on Titan. AOT is pretty brutal, if we were to classify animes by how manly they are, this one would be pretty manly. Haha

DO YOU SEE HOW EPIC THIS LOOKS!!!??
