Hello I am trying to upgrade my computer to DDR3 and SLI. I plan to do this in multiple steps as posted below, also posted are the specs.

My first item is my PSU which I intend to upgrade to ensure I can use SLI. That will be purchased this weekend so I can install it for my Birthday.

Next will be a SLI capable MOBO, because I obvoiusly can't SLI without one, obviously at this time I will upgrade to DDR3 8gbs

Finally would be another GTX 460 to sli.

Does this seem like a good plan? Are there any changes to order? I considered getting the EVGA GTX 460 before the mobo so I can make sure I get the exact one I already have before Newegg pulls it from its selection.

Also any suggestions on PSU, MOBO, and RAM would be greately appreciated.

Case - ABS Aplus El Diablo
Motherboard - BioStar TForce TF8200
PSU(Power Supply Unit) - OCZ StealthXStream 700w
CPU(Central Processing Unit) - AMD Phenom II X4 Deneb Black Edition @ 3.0 Ghz
CPU Fan - Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro /w Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
DVD/CDROM Drive - Kind of a long name :)
RAM - Kingston HyperX 4GB (4 x 1gb)
GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) - EVGA GTX 460
Windows 7 64bit HP

So far I know of:

[QUOTE="AutoPilotOn"]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130571&nm_mc=EMC-GD052511&cm_mmc=EMC-GD052511-_-index-_-Item-_-14-130-571 its only 139.99 after 30 dollar rebate and it looks like the same card except maybe the cooler on it looks different.

The Difference is the Warranty. The One I posted is a lifetime warranty, Granted the one you posted is 2 year warranty and I likely would upgrade in 2 years time anyway... I'll have to consider it....

Hello, I am looking to upgrade my Graphics Card (Link in Description) with this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130568

Previous Card: EVGA 9800GT 512mb

Do you guys think that will provide a noteworthy boost to my overall performance, most importantly with Total War Shogun 2 and the eventual Skyrim?

I already own it on Console, but I will buy it in a heartbeat if it shows up on Steam some day.

Hello, I need some hard drive mounts for a ABS El Diablo Case ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811215006 )

However I contacted the support team and they stated they no longer support the product and as such are unable to provide me with any replacement parts.

Does anyone know any good resources to get such products? Or does anyone know a good universal way to mount a HDD?

So I've finally decided I'd be willing to pay for a virus protection software rather than rely on the free avast or AVG. However I am having trouble figuring out exactly which is the best.

What Virus scanners do you guys/gals use? What do you recommend?

Well, the GPU is clean of dust, the fan speed is always 75-100 depending on the game I'm playing, and the thermal paste is still stock. However, I had yet another issue today. This time it was in Prototype, and I had my first bluescreen with this build. I'd played Prototype in the past with no problems. I think I'll contact EVGA it can't hurt to get an advance RMA done now. New GPU plus reinstalled drivers could help a bit. Maybe I'll swing it by there tech support first. I don't know we'll see, I gotta go to work though, but thanks for the advice.

Okay so I recently had problems with Age of Empires 3 crashing (My monitor would say no signal) and I'd have to reboot. At first I thought it was overheating, but I've checked the temps while it was happening and they were 85c (hot but not overheating) so I shrugged it off as a incompatibilty somehwere in my hardware or software, not however I am having another issue. Today Mount and Blade warband froze for 10 seconds, when it came back the screen had dots that were odd colrs, and they were moving around. I had to reboot to get rid of them.

My temps have been hotter than normal, but it's summer so I expected that. Should I take advantage of my EVGA advanced RMA now, or should I wait for the card to get worse/try to find out what the hell is going on.

Any advice on what to do, or how to diagnose this would be great.

EDIT: It should be noted that I have not been able to recreate the Moung and Blade issue.

So...I;ve been looking for an alternative to Windows Live Movie Maker, preferably something free or atleast cheap, and that has a slo-motion effect.

I asked on Yahoo Answers, but I was givin a link to a program for 100 USD, which is to damned much for making youtube vids on my spare time.
