I prefer Phantasy Star from the get go; I recall playing it all the time on a friends Dreamcast, and the game is amazing. The game on the PSP IMO wasn't as good as on the console, but still, pretty good for a portable game, eh? I personally belive they're tied, as they both have some major pros and cons. Only problem that I have with MHFU is that their ad campaign was not that good, and not worth it.... And it made it seem like only tough-scene kids can play it. Not the case. Anyways, I believe them to be tied.

I've played the Indi game at a Gamestop and it isn't that good. It's ok in my opinion, but really? The controlling of the character was awkward.

I'm sorry but I won't purchase the PSP Go. I find it a waste of time, and it's a piece of poop (IMO). The fact that Sony is consistently changing the medium (PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000, PSP Go?) I am purchasing all of this money on these newer developed consoles, then all of a sudden a 300/400 dollar think jumps onto the market 'promising to be better and stronger and more robust than the older PSPs'. That's BC IMO.

I'm betting what he's trying to say is that the downloads are incredibly slow/stupid on the PSP store. I have to agree with him on that, it's crashed (displayed an error) about 4 times for me. It makes me mad, plus downloads speeds? I think Sony is using Dial-Up.

As I recall, most of the PS1 games were only 750ish MB. So it could fit on your 8 GB stick. (PS1 games I believe were made on the CD-- so about 700ish MB per game.)

I have to say shell out now for the 3000. I can't believe that Sony would be making a new system less than a YEAR after the 3000 is released. The PSP has a lot of amazing games on it, so I suggest looking for the top ones here at Gamespot and then buying those. :) It's worth it.

This isn't the New PSP. This is the PSP Go, a remake of the unsuccessful Sony Mylo. Kotaku reported this a little while ago (I don't have the post though).

agreed, with TWO new consoles next gen (dont forget about onlive) and sony completly flopping sales wise this gen (Granted theres still time) I just dont think the market will tolerate another gen of Sony BS well sony, you had a good run

This ignorance on the forums has grown it seems. PS2 sold 147 million consoles. Xbox or Wii are not even halfway there. Better luck next time.

lol yeah

Yeah, and the PS2 has been around for about 6 years. Guess what? The Xbox 360 and Wii aren't there yet. (Although the Xbox is close).

So it'll just be a really expensive device that can't do anything. Looking forward to it. Course I'll be getting one just because it'll look nice.siLVURcross

I agree.

On top of that, Sony made one mistake (too much emphasis on hardware). As long as it sticks with this console, and makes some *affordable* changes, then their problems will go away. They shouldn't be too hasty, and on top of that the PS3 really is not a bad gaming console, as it has got many exclusives and amazing exclusives at that.

I think Apple popped in a little too late, plus it's just a waste: it won't have a good line up of games.

I think that SEGA been out of the hardware has affected the Sonic games greatly. I will admit that I thought it would work out for the better but it hasn't and we probably all have to accept no 3D Sonic game is ever gonna be near the standard of Sonic Adventure 2.chocolate1325

I completley agree, when Sega was making Sonic games for its own console, it was doing well. When it went to other consoles, Sonic games got owned. :(
