ISPs advertise their speed in Megabits Per Second (mbps), but most download managers etc measure using megabytes or kilobytes per second. Notice, BITS and BYTES. One Byte is 8 Bits.
So, your 4 megabit connection (4000 kilobit) when converted to kilobytes (divide by 8, 8 bits in a byte) equals 500 kilobytes a second. 4000/8 = 500
The reason why they measure it differently is because connections have always been measured in baud rates (1 baud is 1 bit per second (well not true, but lets say it is)) and our storage has been measure in Bytes for a long time
make sure your sound is set up for a 5.1 output, then play an actual surround sound file (either from a DVD or download some sort of surround sound clip online). Some sound cards (most these days) will allow you to test each channel/speaker individually so try and look in the sound card settings too.
i have plenty of 5.1 files myself but they are all very large files
if you have any games, try them out (make sure once again they are set to 5.1)
[QUOTE="Shadowhawk000"]Yeah but if someone attacks you and you a martial and they will try and "Street Fight" Aka swing random punch and hope to connect I think that the practitioner of martial arts will most likely win.Setsa
Ironically enough, there was a fairly serious fight at school today, and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the pair trying to take wild, circular swings with their arms at each other. It almost looked like two five year olds fighting : /
yeah if they try and swing, aim to hit the biceps and move in quickly, thats one way ive been taught, although there are countless more.
