I want to see Daft Punk live, Alive 2007 looked awesome

and i have yet to go to a proper concert, ive been to a few minor ones (random old 70s band when i was young, and Natasha Beddingfield sung live at a raceday thing after the racing had stopped)

however, for my upcoming 18th birthday, my dad bought me tickets to see Oasis live, which im looking forward to a lot

most of the time in the dark, but i leave a light on in the other room (im in a conservatory) and some light comes in. Its never fully dark anyway, there is always a slight glow from outside. My keyboard is backlit though, which i couldnt do without.

1 syllable id say

here is a good one, Saint Tropez. I always used to think it was spelt Santra Pe (Pay) until i actually decided to find it on a map. I felt like an idiot afterwards

I can tell the difference, but it is difficult to tell quite a lot of the time. I dont have particularly high end equipment though. I still download everything in FLAC just as it keeps me happy

uuh ok, someone care to elaborate to me the difference between a thesaurus and a dictionary? is it that its got synonyms?escapeoftheape

EDIT: Yes it is a list with synonyms instead of definitions

a dictionary is basically a list of words with their meanings

a thesaurus is a list of words with another list of other words with similar meanings. For example:

Help:

advice, aid, assist, benefit, comfort, cooperation, corrective, cure, guidance, hand, helping hand, maintenance, nourishment, remedy, service, succor, support, sustenance, use, utility

probably not the simplist explaination though

I have used Linux, XP, Vista and OSX and i use XP and Vista regularly

I so far have to say that i prefer Vista because:

1) It isnt that glitchy at all, and i have a custom built pc with more obscure hardware and im a power user and i only have a couple of minor issues (64bit too)

2) the GUI improvements, like navigating through explorer

3) indexing, for example all files on the main HDD and any others you specify are cached, type in a filename into windows search bar and it will appear within couple of seconds

4) DX10 support

XP is still my OS of choice though for less powerful computers and laptops. I have the windows 7 ISO but I cba to do a format until the release candidate comes out.

Linux, great for those who know what they are doing, and have specific tasks, like running servers or programs constantly. For home use, get windows.

Max OSX, i have heard a lot, but i havnt used it enough myself to provide a proper opinion.

[QUOTE="Gigagamer2"]

drink a lot of water. im assuming this is sodium chloride (salt) not sodium the reactive metal

now i would leave it there, but 8000grams of sodium is 8kg. 8kg. Try eating 8kg of anything, its not happening. do you mean milligrams or are you just being silly

xaos

But wouldn't it be awesome if TC had eaten 8 kp of elemental sodium? O_O

50g of sodium in water

Are you sure you don't mean milligrams?

brandontwb

yes yes milligrams that's what i meant....I don't feel anything yet.

the guideline daily allowance is 6g of salt for an adult, so i would recommend just drinking more water than you usually do and drink now. It isnt that great an amount to be fair so the kidneys should filter it out pretty quick.

thinking about it, you shouldnt need to call a doctor, i was just being a little hasty with my other reply.
