You get the whole thing on steam to download and if you want, you can store them on your own dvd's when Orange Box is officially released. Digital downloads are mainly different in that way that you can only obtain them online and no hard copy will get send out.the_ChEeSe_mAn2

Wait, does that mean I can burn a copy of say Half Life 2 onto a DVD and play it directly from the DVD? I assume if this is possible you would have to have steam on the disc and play in offline mode. Not having a hard copy of it is the one reason I havn't prepurchased it off of steam yet.

Vista has some new security settings that are different that XP. Even though you are logged in as admin, you can only do a certain command when you specifically say "run as admin". You should right click on the COD2.exe and say run as administrator. If that doesn't work, right click go to properties and run the game in compatability mode for Windows XP with service pack 2.

I'm sure everyone here is as sick of poorly made movie adaption of videogames. Therefore, I'm starting a thread about movies that should be the real movie of the game.

My first one, the DOOM movie. If your like me you thought making the "demons" in DOOM nothing more that virus infected people was a slap in the face to gamers check this movie out.

Event Horizon. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119081/

An excellent horror film and alot more faithful to the original DOOM than the official DOOM movie.

This any movies that you think are "the real" movie of the game.

I just saw the original Battlefield 2 without the expansions for 10$. I was wondering if there were still enough servers to play just the original on that I could get a feel for the game before deciding wether or not to get the expantions too.

My current computer is a P4 3.2 Ghz ,1 GB DDR2 ram and X800XT video card.  I was thinking about upgrading to an X1950XT since they seem to be running pretty cheap, but I was a bit concerned about my processor.  With newer processors I was concerned I might be capped in some games with a pentium 4.  So if I upgraded to an X1950XT, would my processor start holding it back?

Serious Sam Gold and 2 have co op.  I also recommend the original Doom with the Jdoom mod.  Also, make sure you look for co op mods since there are mods for most games like FEAR and half life 2.  Even though they don't all work so well, there worth a look.
