Nearly every game I played on the Mega CD (that add on for the Mega Drive, I think the American name for that is Genesis) (although that weren't a lot:P). Therewas one gamefor that that was decent (forgot the name of it though), butthat whole add on was a flop as well so... it speaks for itself!

[QUOTE="Meu2k7"]

I prefer my slogan.

"Fighting Games : The Repetitiveness returnes" "Play the same old tired franchise today, what Hiehachi & friends do the same moves all over again with slightly improved graphics, awe at the craptasticness of our arcade story modes as we make you play it through with every character to unlock more un-interesting characters such as a giant log that can be everyone"!

Tekken, in all its awesomeness.

Dencore

Fighting games were all about honing your skills *which online CAN'T do due to framerate drops and at few times lag*, talking with people, making friends, and learning their moves and skill and sharing yours *somehting that is impossible with online*, and just having fun with your friends *again impossible with online*. I don't know why people don't understand this, especially for the sheer fact that every single fighting game that included online for the first time *save Jump Ultimate Stars but that was more due to a upgrade blowout* has sold worse then it's predecessor.

I mean if you enjoy online and have fun with it then be my guest, but don't say that it will repopulate the genre because there is no way that's going to happen.

I agree with with you Dencore (not with you Meu2k7) about the ethics of fighting games, with the gathering of friends and swapping skills and moves and deveoping your skills and how all those things (plus more) make a fighter great. Those things can't be emulated online, but that doesn't stop it from what the fans want or potential buyers, heck, this may even cause there to be a revival of meet ups of people face-to-face... you never know.

WooT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soul Calibur 4sonofabear17

(Changed the 'e' to a 'u' for you ;)) YES, HYPE THE GAME TO THE HEAVENS :D, this is so going to rock, especially after 1Up were talking about this!

But yeah, a full fighting revival should be upon us... I can't wait :D

(And I'm not a huge DOA fan but I do like it... but DOA4 is quite popular, if not very, I don't see it dying)

[QUOTE="krp008"]MP3 is a last gen title. Nobody caresChiChiMonKilla

Exactly, well I wouldn't say ''nobody cares''. It just seems like another Wii game I could have played last-gen but with ''teh new controlz!''. I liked the first two but I could skip this without blinking an eye or feeling like I missed out on something.

Personally I just consider there's much superior alternatives out there that use state of the art technology to expand the experience at the core. Better graphics for a more immersive experience and advanced processing for deeper, more diverse gameplay than ever before.

But then again like I said I'm not the biggest Prime fan, if I was I'd probably be foaming at the mouth just for another installment. If I want a Metroid Prime fix I'll just play one of the first two again, basically the same thing IMO but with a normal controller *oh noes*.

It deserves a lot of hype and will probably get AAA but something like Bioshock or Halo 3 is waaayyyyy more appealing to my tastes.

I have no doubt mp3 will be AAA on the wii but that does not mean much. AAA on pc is AAAA on the 360/ps3 and AAA on the wii is AAAA on the 360/ps3.

No its not. AAA on the Wii is AAA on the Wii. AAA on the PS3/360 is AAA on the PS3/360. AAA on the PC is AAA on the PC. Whatever gets a AAA score, regardless of the system is a AAA score period. As a reviewer, putting other consoles in your mind and bumping or detracting a score would be ridiculous to say the least. If a console is able to churn out more than another console in terms of overall power then fine, but what stops a set of developers from using their talent a creating a great game?

But anyway, this game hasn't really been pushed the masses by Nintendo, which is a shame but it already has its certain appeal to its demographic, lets ee what more happens with it.

^ I believe your definition of second party is right.

But anyway, I definately agree that Retro is the new Rare, we need some other franchises hit these high heights as Rare dazzled us with Donkey Kong, Didd Kong Racing, Perfect Dark etc. we only have the Prime series from Retro at the mo, but what the've done is monumental and they've captured so many people. I love Retro!

I'm not 100% sure if there should be a remake. Leaf Green and Fire Red makes more sense, but mind you, with the DS in full swing, why not. Besides, everything will get a nice upgrade. Lets see.

[QUOTE="chocolate1325"]I am getting another DS tomorrow because my old one is not working anymore. Does anyone know if the you lose the saved games because I have unlocked all the karts on Mario Kart DS done all the Missions and also got nearly all the Star Coins in New Super Mario Bros.REVOLUTIONfreak
Games are saved to the cartridges, not the system, so no. All of your saves will be in tact.

Wait, but wouldn't ithave an affect onhim going online. I don't know what happens if you take a game online on a certain DS then do it on another, but they warn you to use the same DS for when you go online in the future...

^ Lol!

But Rev and HylianHeart, you guys should wait till the N.A players develop like the ones in Europe... you guys will get frustrated to the max!!! There are some really dodgy techniques (all utilised in game though) that people have realised and taken full advatage of. 95% of them you can stop and it will end up making you a more skillful player if you have the patience. But if a person picks a team of a captain plus three dry bones... beware!

Is it true though that people from Europ can't play people from N.A?
