AAAA Titles on Consoles -

GTA4 = Horrible Online

MGS4 = Horrible Online

Will Gears 2 change this ? ..... probably

Nonstop-Madness

I only played GTA4 online like once. It was okay but nothing kept me wanting to play it. MGO on the other hand is far from horrible. Only people that feel like MGO is horrible online are people that suck at the game and don't know how to play it.

It's problem was the technical issues. NG was great because while the camera was bad it didn't have drops in framerate like NG2 has. NG2 has an even worse camera and bad framerate at times that is just flat out laughable.

It's a dual layered disc because Konami is going to rip off it's fans by charging us for content that's already on the disc.

People already complained about the Codec pack that you BUY off the MGO store not even being a download, you just unlock it off the disc. I would bet money that there are maps for MGO on the disc already that we have to "unlock" and pay for, also the secret characters that we were told we'd be able to play with are probably on the disc as well. I love the gameplay of MGO, but Konami is scamming us.

Sony said it would be out in June now it's July. Waitstation 3 is gettin' on my nerves with this. If it wasn't for MGS4 I don't know what I would do.

I normally don't post on GS often. Most of the time I just lurk, but I have beaten both games and own both games. And I cannot let people say HS >> DMC4.

If you want the better game, get DMC4. It's gameplay is better, it's a longer game, it's replay is way better. HS is an okay game. But it's not in the same class of DMC4. Even if you want to go back and play HS after you beat it to get the extra stuff throughout the game the terribly LONG loading screens will just make you not want to play it anymore.

Sneak Mission is the best mode. Its "metal gear" to a T.

More unique modes like that and MGO will be just fine.

I agree with that, but I also think the modes are the least of the problems with the beta. MG has always been about stealth and somewhat realistic tactical approach to situations. MGO is about as run and gun, and 30 bullet kills as Halo is. The cover system is essentially useless, and overall the game feels very sluggish.

Slow paced game feels slow.

Stop the press!

R6V is a slow natured game too, yet it's animations and controls are fluid.

MGO's animations are better then Vegas'. Especially the death animations. The Controls are about opinion. I like both, however more people will find Vegas' easier because it is a first person shooter.

MGO's controls along with it's learning curve is steeper then most games. You really have to play it for a while to get the hang of it. I wouldn't call it sluggish at all, it's just a steeper learning curve.

DMC4 does everything HS does, and does it noticeably better.

Uncharted took me 8 hours and 34 minutes on hard my first time through. You can easily see how long it took you to beat the game cause on the save data it tells you how far you are and how much time it took you.

Bioshock prolly took me like 10. Not sure. My problem with Bioshock is that there aren't any extras on the disc. Which IMO sucks. Achievements are a given, but there isn't any gallery, no videos, not anything to just put on and check out. Only thing you can do is play through the whole game again to get a different ending.

I'll keep both games because they both are tight, but I can see myself playing Uncharted more especially since I can try a harder difficulty and unlock extra vids and gallery art along the way.
