I doubt they put all the money in the graphic barrel. They'll hopefully be smarter then that; while I agree a lot is going into graphics, they're not dumb enough tooutright abadon the number one thing in a game. The Gameplay. Watch, we'll be laughing at these post when E3 comes... with all the predictions lol.
To be honest, I am really scared that if this game flops, the Playstation 3 or Sony will get a really bad reputation from the media because people currently assume that Killzone 2 is THE game to get for the Playstation 3 and if it doesn't live up to the hype, the console might get a really bad rep and so sales might drop. Then again though, if you look back at the first Killzone, it didn't very live up to the hype but look at how well the ps2 did afterwards.
I'm sure that Killzone 2 will be a great game though because of the reasons stated before this post.

This is true. It's more anticipated then the original Killzone. Killzone 2 is a chance for Guerrilla to shine; with a huge finance, 120 people backing them up and Sony's support how could they fail? If they do however, the hype they had generated would backfire for the worse; Guerrilla won't redeem itself and Sony will make a fool of themselves. Who could trust them againto make a good game? This is what I believe is behind the hype. People say, "Guerrillacan't fail with such resources backing them up, never." The trailer only made the hype meter skyrocket. However, if Killzone 2 does succeed... well you get the picture.
Killzone 2: This can be the biggest flop or the greatest thing yet. It can sell more systems or it can be used to bash the Ps3. It's suppose to be the game to dominate Xbox360's most anticipated game, Halo 3. With 40 million dallors given into the project and over 100 developers working on it for 2 1/2 years how could it fail? And then how could it succeed? This upcoming E3 will be what many call the D-Day of Sony's comeback. Will it? So far though, it looks like Sony is confident in it's product... we'll just have to see if it lives up to there Trailer unveiled 2 years ago. What do you guys think? Will Killzone 2 be a system seller? Will it become the center of mock and laughing? Let us pray.

Yeah.. on other news lol. I agree that people are hyping this game to the point where only a solid score of 10 will satisfy them. But really what are their expectations and where do they concede to. Do they hype the game because of the Trailer, probably. Was it a good decision to show that Trailer and possibly not live up to it? It did create hype and the atmosphere of want, but maybe too much. I believe this game will get a good score, there's just so much riding on it; lots of resources given up. A perfect 10, no that's not realistic; maybe a solid 9.0... but with the new rating system that will be high. (being the 3rd highest score.) We will have to wait; be it a blessing or a complete joke. It tells us about heroism, determination and the power that we all have within ourselves; waiting to be unleashed. Guys, guys, I think we're all forgetting a important and gen-defining game. Yes, the one with unparallel graphics, amazing realistic and cunning A.I. The one that is hyped by all console owners; even that of Xbox360. They envy and grow jealous with each passing day, waiting... hoping. We all await the day it is to be unveiled at the upcoming E3; ready to be awed, the concept of what we know will totally shatter. For it is this game that will define this gaming age, for it is this game that shall save the Ps3 from the bashing and sales. For it is not MGS4, norwill it be Heavenly sword orKillzone 2.
