GoW is an action game. Zelda is an Action/Adventure game.

Nah, they're both Action/adventure games except Zelda has more RPG elements.

See? Legend of Zelda = Action/Adventure

Which, for all practical purposes, it's called a RPG/Shooter hybrid. If we wanted to get technical, FFXIII is not a RPG either, is an Action/Adventure game with RPG elements.

[QUOTE="GordonRamsay23"]Gotta agree with this. If you consider something like Borderlands a shooter, then Mass Effect 2 is also a shooter.IronBass
Borderlands is also considered a RPG/Shooter hybrid.

No, it's a shooter with RPG elements.

The 360 version wasn't a great port and anyone owning both systems would have bought the PS3 knowing it was on a single disc. Plus, most people who bought a 360 and refused to buy a PS3 before E3 2008 probably weren't all that bothered about Final Fantasy JRPG's in general to begin with.

With that being said, the 360 version almost equalled the PS3 version in sales here in the UK.

The FFXIII version isn't a port. It's an optimized version that takes advantage of the Xbox 360 features such as DVD and lossy audio.

It's a quite elegant mix of both.

wrong. the first was a mix. this is a shooter with a few RPG elements thrown in for teh lulz

Gotta agree with this. If you consider something like Borderlands a shooter, then Mass Effect 2 is also a shooter.

I did play it. Great story... but it's a shooter. Maybe it's because I played it on the PC

Yeah, but how many people seriously own both a PS3 and Xbox 360... that's like owning both an Xbox 360 and a PC used for gaming. Kind of redundant.

Although there is a possibility that millions of Xbox 360 owners acquired Final Fantasy XIII via Digital Distribution, which wouldn't show up on NPD numbers.

I hear it's only sold 500,000 copies even though there are 5 million more Xbox 360 owners than PS3 owners. When the PS3 version first released, it sold 2 million... in 1 day. Aren't Xbox owners grateful that Square-Enix has given them the gift of a single player Final Fantasy game?

They even optimized it just for Xbox 360 owners by giving them things that Xbox 360 owners like such as 480p video clips and lossy audio.

So what's taking so long?

[QUOTE="GordonRamsay23"]

I wonder if it is possible that Mass Effect won't appear on PS3 until Mass Effect 3 is finished, then all three games will be on a single Blu-Ray disc, rather than on three separate DVDs.

That would mean that Mass Effect wouldn't be coming to PS3 until 2011/2012. After all, it wouldn't make sense to release mass effect 2-3 without releasing Mass effect 1 on PS3. It's really one big game.

Kane04

non sence, i dont remember the title of the game but its an fps that combines forensics, it was released originally on 360 only but the sequel came out on both PS3&360 following your logic konami had to remake evey MGS before they release the 4 on PS3 its not on PS3 because its an amazing game, MS must have open the pokets to not see this on PS3, its a system seller, luckly i have a PC powerfull enough to run it almost maxed so i dont need to buy a 360 =D

Uh, they did... sort of. Konami released the MGS collection which had MGS 1-3 before releasing MGS4 so anyone who didn't play 1-3 could do so.
