Just heard from a friend that the Pacific Mall in Scarborough, Ont is having a sale on their special Xbox 360s this weekend.

*NOTE. You will likely have to be asian or accompanied by an asian to take advantage of this sale.

It would be like if Kingdom Hearts III was announced for the Wii. It would be considere a lost multiplat for the PS franchise since the Kingdom Hearts series has traditionally been on both PS and NDS/GBA, even though KHIII was never announced for PS3

Seeing as KOTOR 3 or The Old Republic were never announced for the Xbox 360 anyway, no we can't consider it a lost multiplat.

You can't lose something you never had in the first place. :|

The_Game21x

No, because the KOTOR series has always been on Xbox franchise

IE. NHL 2K11 was announced to be exclusive for the Wii this year. This means the NHL 2K series is now a lost multiplat for the PS and Xbox franchises, even though NHL 2K11 was never announced for the PS3 or Xbox 360 because the NHL 2K series has always been on those two platforms

The Old Republic is a new franchise. It is not KOTOR 3. Therefore, the 360 never actually lost the franchise. Again, you can't lose something you never had.

Bioware says SW:TOR = KOTOR 3,4,5,6,7, and 8

tl;dr bawwww kotor wasnt on ps2,ME isnt on ps3.

locopatho

I dont' recall mentioning the PS anywhere....

Anyways, the thing is, those people who followed the KOTOR series on the Xbox will now have to continue on the PC. It is not possible to continue on the Xbox. While PC owners who followed the series on the PCcan continue on the PC as they always have.

It's not possible to follow it at all, since it's not getting a sequel. Which you know well, mr level 3.

As Bioware has stated numerous times, SW: TOR is the sequel to SW: KOTOR II

The thing is, for those people who have Xbox and followed the KOTOR series on the Xbox, you can not continue the KOTOR storyline on the Xbox. You will have to do so on the PC.

[QUOTE="Danm_999"]You can't really lose something you never had. KOTOR 3 was never planned.dommeus

SW:TOR is KOTOR 3. It's also KOTOR 4, 5, 6, 7.8 and 9

The KOTOR series was always on PC and Xbox anyway...

And now it's not. SW: TOR is PC only.

No it isn't.

sSubZerOo

It's not literally, Bioware said that there is enough content in there for six games, something like that.

But it ISN'T.. It will not be the same kind of gameplay or character interactions.. Its as ridiculous as claiming that WoW is a sequel to Warcraft 3.. It ISN'T.

Well, technically, Mass Effect 2 didn't have the same gameplay as Mass Effect. Since SWTOR is an MMO, some changes are needed and you obviously can't use the same engine

As for character interactions, yeah it does.

It's sad that great RPGs like Lost Odyssey and FFXIII only sell like half a million on Xbox 360.... How much did Blue Dragon and Star Ocean sell? 250,000?

I wonder what Lost Odyssey would have sold if it were on the Wii or PS3....
