Why is Grim Fandango on that list, or why OoT is not in that list, both games are from 1998 if i remember correctly.

madsnakehhh

PCs don't have generations like consoles do. And OoT isn't exclusive to Wii. It's on the Gamecube. Same reason why I didn't put Twillight Princess on the list for Action or Adventure game.

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"] I dont get what you mean.GeneralShowzer

What's not to get. If you are an Xbox 360 owner and you want Digital Distribution, Pirate Bay is probably the last place you would go.

What place then do you go for "digital distribution" ?

I don't go anywhere since I believe in Blu-ray disc.

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"] Pirate Bay =/= Digital Download lol.GeneralShowzer

Most Xbox 360 users don't go to Pirate Bay for Digital Distribution Downloads.

I never mentioned the word "pirate". I just said the digitally distributed version of Alan Wake is available (as is Lost Planet 2). Interestingly enough, the Blu-ray version of Lost Planet 2 does not exist on Digital Distribution.

Although I prefer games on Blu-ray disc, not everyone else does. Digital Distribution is one of the primary advantages of the Xbox 360. Just as Blu-ray is one of the advantages of the PS3.

Respawn-d

so you're saying there is a legal DD version of Alan Wake available now?

Hes saying a DD version exist. legal or not thats not his argument

It's hard to argue what is legal because each country has their own laws. For example, in the United States, state sanctioned murder is legal (AKA Capital Punishment), whereas it is illegal in Canada.

Then why do you keep on advertising the pirated Alan Wake being available....?

The PC has had its fair share of problems with piracy, but is the 360 really that far behind now? I mean 2 big games of this year, Alan Wake and Lost Planet 2 have been leaked to download a couple of days ago! You cant get these games in the shop at the moment, yet there are people already playing these games! Will we start to see intrusive DRM on the 360 soon?

NielsNL

It's called "digital distribution" and it is the future. Xbox 360 owners love it and it's one of the 360's primary features. If 360 developers don't want their games digitally distributed, they should put their games on a Blu-ray Disc

Why isn't this guy banned yet?

How abut just paying for your games?

I don't own an Xbox 360. I prefer games on Blu-ray disc.

I think one of the reasons why Sony was getting off to a bad start was because of some of the titles they were allowing onto their system. They simply don't cater to the traditional owner of a playstation console. Games such as Resistance and Killzone aren't in the tradition of the Playstation. However, recently Sony is starting to rediscover what Playstation users demand. Games such as Little Big Planet, Mod Nation Racers, Uncharted, Demons Souls, Final Fantasy XIII and God of War are what traditional Playstation users demand from their system.

Look at MAG vs Heavy Rain. Heavy Rain has sold over a million units, whereas Mag struggles at 500,000. Typically, players that like gamessuch as MAG, Resistance or Killzone play on anotherbox. Certainly, there is a place on the Playstation for games like MAG, Killzone or Resistance, but the focus should always be on titles like Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Heavy Rainor God of War.
