Kotor has been a multiplat since November 2003...

sSubZerOo

The full KOTOR Series is now exclusive to PC, since SW: TOR is part of the KOTOR Series and the only way to play the full series is on the PC. In other words, the Xbox lost a multiplat

Not they are not.. TOR is NOT the KOTOR series, its a spin off of a MMORPG.. If people seriously think its a sequel they need to play the KOTOR games and any mmorpg's.. It will share some similarities in story and the setting.. And thast it.. It will not play the same, nor will it use any of the mechanics of the last, nor iwll it have the strong narrative and character interactiosn of the last.

  1. Mass effect 2 didn't play the same as Mass Effect and didn't use the mechanics of Mass Effect. Are you saying Mass Effect 2 isn't a sequel to Mass Effect?
  2. Narrative and Character interaction looks pretty strong to me

i admit it exists.

thread title says 360 vs ps3. stay on topic please :)

ZuneHD

Then shouldn't the thread title be 360 vs PS3 vs PC?

??

Im made a list of all 360 "games" this year that arent on ps3. The ps3 list are "games" that arent on 360.

The thread title says 360 VS PS3.........

Seriously............there should be no problem here lol

Except they're not 360 games. They're PC/360 games.

If you are going to compare libraries, why do you pretend PCs dont exist?

jon_cia

i admit it exists.

but whats the point of staying on topic when it was clearly created to somehow show the 360 is superior in 2010 by simply imagining the pc and wii dont exists, I might as well create a topic and call it "new Wii game Graphics King of 2010 if you dont count the ps3, 360, pc and vectrex"

Gotta agree here. I mean, hypothetically, if Super Mario Bros was somehow on both PS3 and Wii, you could put it on his PS3 list and pretend it doesn't exist on the Wii in this thread. How stupid would that sound?

lol I never said this was an exclusive comparison. Its a library comparison.

If PS3 cant play any of those games on the 360 list, it deserves to be mentioned. Plain and simple.

I NEVER said they are exclusive, im admitting they are multiplat. What I am saying is that anything on one but not the other deserves a mention.

anything can be made to look in your favour if you add rediculous conditions, so please no multiplats

I don't see how it really matters considering PC games run on windows, which is microsoft, and this game is an MMO which, generally are all on PC anyway.

JuKeE76

So? Dreamcast games runs on windows as well. Is the Dreamcast Microsoft? Because I always thought it was Sega's.

And since the Playstation runs on Linux, is the Playstation a Linux system? Sorry, but Operating System doesn't mean anything

One error I see Xbox 360 owners making all the time is choosing to output 1080p with their Xbox 360. The problem is that the Xbox 360 does a substandard up scaling pictures up. This can result in subpar picture quality and picture artifacts. Much of the source material on the Xbox 360 is below 1080p so scaling is often required in order to achieve a 1080p picture. If you have a native 1080p HDTV, you will always see a 1080p picture, whether it be native 1080p or upscaled 1080p.The only time you won't is if you set your HDTV to do 1:1 pixel mapping. Chances are however, your HDTV's internal scaler is much better than the Xbox 360's scaler. If you have a receiver, it most likely has a high quality internal video scaler and you can choose to let your receiver's scaler upscale the picture instead. So here is what you do

  1. Make sure your HDTV has 1:1 pixel mapping set to OFF. If it is on, you will get a black border around a 720p picture.
  2. Set your Xbox 360 to output 720p, which will often be the source material's native resolution. If you are watching DVDs, set it to 480p
  3. Plug your Xbox 360 into your receiver and set your receiver to upscale all sources to 1080p. Then plug your receiver into your HDTV
  4. If you do not have a receiver, plug your Xbox 360 straight into your HDTV

By doing this, you are minimizing the video processing of the Xbox 360 and letting something else which does a better job of scaling do the scaling instead. What you end up with is a far better upscaled 1080p picture, compared to if you set the Xbox 360 to 1080p.

*If you are watching HD-DVDs on your Xbox 360, set it to 1080p, since the source material on HD-DVDs is 1080p.
