I mean I knew 08 would be their year but it's so instantaneous, sales are up, reservations for multiplats are dominated by PS3 versions, exclusives to look forward to, outselling the 360 ALL OVER THE WORLD, PS3's first year sold more consoles than 360 sold in their first year.

Sooner or later it will take over the Wii, since people can only play kiddie garbage for so long, plus they realize it's just a fad.

I don't think you even understand "all this technology" you talk about with the cell. The reality is that the difference between 360 and PS3's CPU is negligable. Therefore the big difference is in the video memmory which in the case of the 360 you are allowed to have more textures in the game at a time because there is more video ram.

The strength of the Cell is floating point math which has few geraphical implications but more with things like enemy AI.

The creators of Gears( Epic) stated that it would be impossible to have Gears of War on the PS3 because of video memmory limitations and they were the ones that convinced MS to put allow for more video memmory.

Your simply wrong. Although I admit Uncharted looks really good it just does not look as good as Gears( which came out a years ago).

What I meant by all the technology, I meant like Blu Ray, Wi Fi and the cell, and I admit I do not really understand the cell entails, but really who the hell does? But you're assuming too much of what I said, you thought ALL I MEANT was the cell which is not true. I bring up the Wi Fi and BLU RAY MORE SPECIFICALLY because Blu Ray is a relatively a new and complex technology and I just didn't understand why Sony were willing to spend so much building this sort of hardware and not just throw in the same graphics card as 360's or even a better one.
