It's a timed exclusive. It's supposed to be a 2007 release for PS3 and a Q2 2008 release for 360 and PC. Unfortunately, Free Radical seem unwilling to set anything in stone but that is the general consensus.

The one with the taser and psychopaths is Condemned, and it's a lot slower-paced than PDZ. You don't do a lot of shooting on the whole, most weapons only have 5 bullets if you're lucky.

The graphics in Gears are still good enough to blow your jacobs off by today's standards, so yes I would recommend it. The single player is very enjoyable but multiplayer won't be up to much with Halo 3 as competition. If you can enjoy a good single player game then go for it.

They will look exactly the same, unless Valve screw up the 360 version. The 360 is more than capable of handling Episode 2 and TF2, the Source engine doesn't hold a candle to the UE3 engine which is running and looking great on the 360.

I think everyone agrees it looks a little underwhelming, but don't worry the PC port will looks much better ;)ParasiteDemon

Actually it will look much worse because it will be released two years later and will have steep system requirements and framerate issues like every half-hearted port.

PES 2008 plays exactly like a shiny version of Pro Evo 4. I will be getting FIFA 08 just because it will at least be something new.

You can't seriously accuse all the game reviewers of Microsoft fanboyism. Most of these sites have been running long before Microsoft even entered the console race. If they were going to side with anyone, it would be Sony and Nintendo who have been established far longer. Check metacritic:

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/halo3?q=halo

it's not just Gamespot that's giving Halo 3 a glowing review, I believe that there are around 15 reviews that give it 95% or higher. Unless you just dismiss every reputable review site out there, you might have to come to the conclusion that maybe the 360 does have more quality titles than the PS3. I'm not saying PS3 games suck, I'm saying that the 360 has more top-quality ones.

This doesn't surprise me because I always had the impression that Sony spent too much time putting expensive technology into their system and marketing blu-ray and not enough time securing the rights to games.
