I love my Mom and siblings, and my best friend. But I've never been "in love" with someone. Frankly I think I'm too cynical about relationships to ever try and find someone to be intimate with or even think about being intimate with.

I never supported the war in the Middle East from the start because of the way our soldiers treat the people there. But I have to admit that Iran's threats have been worrying me lately and with all that we've done to piss the Middle East off I wouldn't be surprised if they did try to attack us with something big. I guess as long as this war really is about protecting our own country and not about power-hungry corruption I guess I would be OK with it. But knowing our government I can see them taking advantage of the people in the future just like they've done in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I'm sure everyone has a personal preference for when it comes to video game characters that they favor, so what are the characteristics of a video game hero or heroine that you find the most appealing?
For male characters I like characters who are really tough and badass, but at the same time have a compassionate heart and care about the people closest to them. I don't like characters who are too cocky or act like sadistic sociopaths. Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza 3 is a good example of this kind of character.
For female characters I like the archetypal "femme fatale". I like women who are beautiful and seductive yet at the same time know how to fight. I especially like playable female villains who are like this such as Excella Gionnefrom Resident Evil 5.
I seek peace and solitude. I've grown up with a pretty chaotic family and I always seemed to get dragged into other people's drama when I didn't ask to be. Plus I've recently had an epiphany and realized that the world generally sucks and that mankind is selfish, stupid, and unreasonable. I'm just tired of people and would like to some day live my life isolated from the world. Maybe find myself a nice cabin in the middle of nowhere where I only have to deal with people I actually like such as my closest family and friends.
I like both Japanese and Western style games, but my favorite Western-style game made by Japanese developers probably has to be the Resident Evil series. I like both the classic horror games and the new action games because they're both entertaining in their own ways.
I think the Uncharted games are a good example of what true games are supposed to be about. They're not story-heavy and they don't try to be virtual worlds, in each game all you do is shoot lots of enemies and get from point a. to point b. by climbing ledges and avoiding traps.
Don't get me wrong, I do love games with a good story and lots of freedom to do whatever you want, but those kind of games really aren't what the classic games used to be about. I like how the Uncharted games recaptured some of the feel of the classic games but with advanced 3D graphics for this generation.
I admit I've actually fantasized about the world ending and leaving a few survivors to try and survive. :P
If it were a zombie apocalypse I'd hide in the nearest Walmart and barricade all the doors, living off the groceries and electronics in the store for the rest of my life. :)
I don't understand the emo culture. I mean I have plenty of things in the world to be angry and depressed about, but I don't go around showing off about it just to get attention. Plus most emo kids really don't have anything to be angry or depressed about, and a lot of them are rude jerks whenever you try to be nice to them.
