Some good news,  more evidence poping up of a new game in the Legacy of Kain series. Buried in the driver files of a new patch to AMD's Crossfire program are several references to "War for Nosgoth" and "Nosgoth."

The files were spotted by Eidos forum user Corlagon, via a tweet from an AMD employee. Square Enix registered the domain "WarForNosgoth.com" earlier this year.

So yeah interesting times a foot.

I agree that 6.0 to the content added to BG1 is fair. Sure I hold BG1 in more higher regard say 8.9, but its BG2 thats my true love. :P

The problem with EE is that right now it really does come off as not well executed money grab. They could have taken their time and tooth combed the game for bugs or asked permission to use bug fixed modders already did. They could have added few fan mods like Unfinished Business maybe even NPC banter pack, but ok I can get all that and more from BGT or TUTU. I feel instead adding not story related arena, they could have left their mark, by say continuing where BG1 and BG2 started

Somebody diid a good recap.

Yesterday i completed my ironman run of BG:EE. I give a short feedback:

-Buggy as hell

->bugs that were already fixed by modders like Reevor's quest.->Dorn disappearing after area transition and rep 16. He had a huge **** collection of magic items.->2 Neeras in FAI->I had to fiddle a lot to even install it on my laptop->Buggy spell damage from Ai->Buggy damage calculation in Inv. screen->Many other small bugs i'm too lazy to list->Had to kill Sarevok 2 times because after the first time the game just crashed

-I actually don't hate the new videos. But i don't see the point in them either.
-Cut content sucks, wtf, really why?
-Faster and smoother than BG1, TUTU and BGT (no save times, no lag, etc.)
-Small AI improvements even over BG2. I loved how casters follow you through doors and you couldn't interrupt them by transitioning.
-Overall still dumb AI. Help scripts weren't implemented. Why? They are in BG2.
-Some really crucial tweaks implemented for inventory management but still lacking a scroll case
-I love the idea of the better mechanics displays. I hope they work properly some time.
-I'm not sure about the implementation of some ToBEx features, as i didn't encounter them or didn't test them.
-They changed so much in the time i played, you could say the game is still in some kind of beta.
Edit: -I played on core rules, with minimal metagaming and exploiting. The game was easier than BGT/TUTU and a lot easier than BG1. Even if they made the spawns better in the last patch i was missing several scripted enemies. They at least could have worked more on the AI for all the balance changes over BG1.

All in all -
The game is not recommendable at the moment, but i'm still optimistic about the longer term. Even if it's unfinished and lackluster they at least work at the problems and still change stuff and they give some of my favorite modders money for that like aVENGER. I could not name somebody else who i would like to fix that thing. It definately has potential to be a better BGT and TUTU, not in the moment, but the time will come i think.

SEGA and Creative Assembly Announce Partnership with Games Workshop to Create Warhammer Games

SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON 11AM GMT, December 6, 2012 SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. today announced that Creative Assembly, award-winning creator of the Total War series, and SEGA® Group have entered into a multi-title licensing deal with Games Workshop® to create videogames based in the Warhammer® universe of fantasy battles.
A new high-calibre development team has been set up at Creative Assemblys UK studio to work alongside the existing Total War, Alien IP and Mobile teams on the first Warhammer title in the deal, scheduled to launch from beyond 2013.
With this year being our 25th anniversary, said Tim Heaton, Studio Director at Creative Assembly, it seems fitting for us to embark on such a dream project with such a well-established partner. The incredibly rich and detailed Warhammer world is something we grew up with, and has left an indelible imprint on us as both designers and gamers.
Well be doing the Warhammer universe justice in a way that has never been attempted before. Were bringing those 25 years of experience and expertise in extremely high-scoring games to bear, delivering a Warhammer experience that videogamers will absolutely love.
We have enormous respect for SEGA and Creative Assembly and have felt for a long time that the combination of the enormously rich setting of the Warhammer world, and their stunning development talent is a match with huge potential, said Jon Gillard, Games Workshops Head of Licensing. Now that weve managed to bring these two giants of gaming together it is safe to say that some truly amazing products are going to be unleashed as a result. We are excited at the possibilities, and are enthusiastically working with the team at Creative Assembly already.
This first Warhammer game joins the eagerly-awaited Total War: Rome II and the untitled Alien IP as one of five projects currently in production at Creative Assembly, now one of the largest developers in Europe.

Fantastic news, because while Call of Warhammer is good substitute we could use something new after Shadow Of The Horned Rat or Dark Omen. And no Mark of Chaos and Battle March don't count.

Never doubted in Roberts, but Im a bit worred that the Privateer esque game will come later. The MMO type game as privater is nice, but if you played Freelancer with mods you know how amazing offline modding can be.

They left because they were not wanted anymore by EA and a painful reminder. EA had high stakes or KOTOR MMO and it failed by their standards. Somebody has to take the blame. This is just AFTER EFFECT of EA restructuring Bioware. By the way DA3 and ME4 are their last chance if they don't deliver they will suffer the same fate as Westwood or worst as Mythic stuck in limbo and not moving foward.

There is trouble in the paradise and looks like EA isn't happy with Bioware after KOTORO fiasco. Now that doctors were kicked out its time to reorganize rest of the assets. Henceforth BioWare Mythic is now known as Mythic and BioWare Victory now Victory again.

You do know that there is The Gentlemen of the Row Saints Row 2 Super Mod, that improwes the gameplay and controlls by quite a lot over the original port..

http://idolninja.com/sr2.php

And the only reason to own PS3 is for MGS and Yakuza series, with some PS3 only RPG added for mix. Other thent that yes I get more out of PC versions then I do from conole ones. You really cant mod console games and add new stuff on the fly.

Overall the story and playercharacters were good and well done in DS3. But the game itself sometimes felt like a grind and some of the combat was just not fun. Still it did have few interesting parts, that made going through the game worth. Personally Id say Alpha Protocol was better done then DS3, but thats just my opinion. As to Diablo 3, to early to tell and Ill make my judgmentafter expansion comes out, because you know there will be a expansion.
