I hope they don't thing a good rpg is all about being more open. One of my favorite rpgs is saga frontier 2 because of the story, characters, and complex battle system. The actual story progressed by click on events and the game spanned through many years and felt very epic because of it. They need to tell a story with fitting characters, meaning no teeny boppers, jpoppers, and cheap black stereotypes. The monster and enemies need to make sense instead of just trying to be creative and witty. Also the dialog has to be less linear as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEmjjse0AWg Ever since voice acting has become part of final fantasy games all dialog has become either super awkward, or too "cool" I haven't played any of the 13's though because I don't like direction they took it. I'm looking forward to 15 though.

In an interview between jack Tretton and Geoff Keighley, jack mentioned that multiplat games are running better on the ps4 hardware. I know he works for sony, but he looked proud to say it.

No co-op or multiplayer this time around again? The ones on ps2 were and still are fun to play, so it's kinda disappointing to not see a current version.

If you've ever played a simulation (flight, racing, military, etc) with voice commands, head-tracking, and gesture-control then you'll know that something like Kinect can have a purpose. Those setups can be pretty spendy on PC, so it's doubtful.

 

I'd love to see the extra level of immersion, and interaction, that could be brought to a title like Forza, and potentially other simulators, as well as other genres even.

Head tracking is awkward if you have to turn you're head away from the screen. I'd say it's ironic that the only game that would appeal to core gamers is one that is filled with hit or miss party games. I did beat Antigrav for the eyetoy and it was probably the only core motion control game I've enjoyed.

We really can't get a demonstration of the cloud until the console is released. So far it just seems like they're collecting player data instead of the promised increased visual fidelity.

They did some amazing stuff on GOW for psp, so I'm glad to see them making their own ip. The cinematic style of the game may give the illusion of being better than games already released on PC so far.

The reflections are running realtime at half resolution, but if they continue to use it on objects that blur the reflection it should still look pretty nice.

I'm on the 30 day trial from doing e3 quest on playstation home. Too bad I missed out on lbp2 and infamous 2 though.
