Yeah, we all knew he was a troll going in, but System Wars has gotten so dang boring!
That's the reason why I made this. :P EVERYONE misunderstood me. I never said video games didn't take skill. I admit those are poor examples, but if you notice I never mention a single game. YOU filled in the blanks, think about that for a minute. ;) I'm just saying games are getting easier and easier, Halo 3's Legendary mode is easy then Halo 1 on Legendary (that's what my brother tells me anyway, he plays halo.) And the new Rainbow Six games are easier then the cla.sic RS games yet they're more popular. All the 'pros' and 'veterans are are shooting off at causal games and other games such as...
Dawn of War vs Starcraft
Halo vs Counter Strike
Tekken vs Virtual Fighter
Like that one guy said I look at it wrong, it's about the process of learning and having fun playing the games, not just the end play. And there really is no cap. But I'm willing to bet Starcraft 2 will be easier then Starcraft and the same with Diablo 3. I'm just saying enjoy it. Here's an example...
as a traditional fighting game, SCIV is obviously better.
that being said, i believe SSBB can be just as balanced IF and only IF all the items are off including the final smashes.
as for me, i prefer brawl because SC games are too complicated to learn all the combos and everything for me. i just like how you can pick up smash and just play it almost as well as a world champion.

1. Make the game fun
2. Advertise it well
3. the '???' is to make it easier than the other games so all the newbies sign their loyalty to you (But of course, that doesn't mean you should make it shallow!)
4. Profit.
Games take skill and still take skill and will always take skill, but they never will be as in depth as real life so why complain if they get easier is all I was asking asking.
Thing is, at no point in time whatsoever did you ever even hint at these arguments. Nice attempt at backtracking, though.
You still fail in that no matter how easy the single player gets, the multiplayer (which is what you focused on!) is still on relatively equal grounding, and AI is of no relevance, so it's still a match of two people with the same tools and chances - and the best one will win.
You might wish to read your first post and see your argument, mate.
