No sooner am I back and I've gone again! Yeah, I know, disgraceful isn't it? Dirty stop out they call me!

This weeks work involves a hop across the Irish Sea to various places in Ireland and Northern Ireland (not been there before!), however you'll probably not notice I've gone, because I'm hoping that the hotels I'm staying at have hot and cold running internet... infact I know one of them already does (just hope it's working and it's still free!)

So expect huge advancements in level this week as I'll have a bit of time to kill, undistracted by the usual things I have to do at home.

Hope everyone is doing really well this week and surviving the current heat wave.

Very posh, luxury hotel with contempary style and in the middle of nowhere... my room window looks out across acres of farm terrain. Although at first glance the area seems a bit devoid of joe public and a massive hotel in place like this seems a bit like having Sydney Opera House in Alice Springs, the hotel itself does, however, seem to be quite packed, so they must've done something right. Oh and the internet's free! :D

The BBC have announced they've axed Top of the Pops! After 42,000 years and 2,000,000 episodes. (Or something like that).

How they can even think such a thing is a good idea is a mystery but apparently they've done it.

No, don't try and console me, I'll be okay, I'll just be permenantly scarred and a result, bitter and twisted for the rest of my life! :cry:

So how's everyone else doing? :D

I had a nasty start to the day, after happily contributing for some time to Wikipedia - which I enjoy doing as much as contributing here - I woke up to find someone who didn't want to lose a silly argument with me about something and nothing, decided to write insulting personal comments about me. Having started the day really ticked off about this, things started progressively going worse with various things going wrong. Ordinarily these problems wouldn't have bothered me except that I was already upset. Still I've come home from work to find the same person who is now arguing with someone else instead and I now have a general feeling that the whole Wikipedia experience has been irreparably ruined for me. I no longer seem care whether the stupid thing gets vandalised or not - it'll have to get reverted without me.

On the other hand at least TV.com still loves me. Level 42! I've been tidying up the My Family guide and I got rewarded nicely for my efforts with a nice 20% or so. I also made a contribution to How I Met Your Mother which is fast becoming a firm favourite of minel. Thanks to Yakira for approving the contribution! There may be more to come!

Sorry I sound down or like I'm... 'feeling a bit meehh'. (;) - Maritmer), maybe if I sleep on it I'll feel better tomorrow and I'll be as right as rain again.

Two new guides - 'One Foot In The Grave' and 'My Family' both shows I love to bits. I'll be sorting out some errors in those guides shortly.

Dunno about the US, but the UK have quite a heatwave going on here, they forcasted  that it'd be warm by the weekend with temperatures as high as 26°C/79°F. It reached 28°C/82°F yesterday so what's goint to happen at the weekend is anyone's guess.

Wayhay, I got to level 40!  :P A milestone in my journey through TV.com. Bewitched is my current rank.. with a brush for an icon... lifestyle show is it?

...I'm kidding! Of course I know it's a girl band from the late nineties 8) ...what do you mean I'm still wrong? :?

Anyway, as if this wasn't enough good news for me, for the first time in absolutely AGES, I've got a new (old) show! The Detectives now adorn my list thanks to a few quickly accepted production codes (thanks staff). I'll set to giving it a proper tidy up soon.

Hello peeps! I'm back from Prague which I have to say is probably the most visually stunning place I've ever been too. I've had tons of fun, filled 5 hours of camcorder tape, and got quite badly sunburnt in the process. :oops: I would certainly recommend the city to anyone who needs a good relaxing break and likes jaw droppingly picturesque environments with a vast fascinating history.

And so I continue my holiday at home (missing Prague already) and I'm poking away at my guides again, wondering if I'll have a bit of a onslaught of submissions to boost my level ever further. So far I've not had much chance thanks to the barrage of activity in my moderation queue from one dju010, whom I owe a debt of gratitude for adorning practically every episode of every guide I've got with production codes which were recently publicised by the BBC. Boy that guy can contribute fast! :D To dju010, I wish you a speedy climb to the highest level possible, you've earned it!

To everyone else, I hope you're all doing really well too!

Two weeks off work and about 5 days of it I'll be spending in Prague, which I've never seen before so I can't wait!

And what's more I don't feel in the least bit guilty about my pending laziness, cos I've bloody earned it! So there! :P

Me? Community Spotlight? Who'd have thunk it?

Well it seems I am and I thank the TV.com staff for the honour and anyone in the community who has helped me to get to the stage where I qualify for the title. 

Ironic however that on the week my name is up in lights... I'm not going to be here! Yes, I'm off back to Ireland again, tinkering with things until Friday afternoon so I'll have to make up for it at the weekend and re-earn this position.
