PC folks should look at Stock Car Extreme, nicely discounted to less than $20. Assetto Corsa's deal isn't as sweet right now, still mighty fine to pay $42 and get all content, but the Winter Sale should bring it down to $35ish.
So it's like a glorified and connected version of the demo. This is no cashcow scam like FIFA Ultimate Team, don't know what the person below was saying. But there is no need to spend real money, you can obtain things through in-game play... and MyClub isn't worth any money any way. It's all about Master League, My Player and the individual championships.
No surprise here, it never looked special at all. Expecting a barrage of DLC that will add content and still lack substance. Much like the progress of the Battlefield series itself, which had garbage single-player in Bad Company II but had an engaging and fun (with frustration too) multiplayer. Then it really tried copying Call of Duty in a lot of ways and it completely lost itself.
One thing bugging me like hell comes from those absurd 20-30m leaps that provoke no damage. Ugh.
All the Daniel Craig "Bond" movies lack finesse, there is too much physicality/brute force. We don't have James be a lesser physical opponent to some beasts, having to resort to ingenious ways of getting off tough situations.
Plus Craig looks like a depressed Pug and has the charm of a shopping cart.
I do miss the characters with a more realistic build instead of tiny body and monstrous limbs (thinking Anthology). SF Alpha II mixed with SF 3rd Strike with SF V's fluidity would be cool.
It's just unforgivable this game has glitches and bugs existing since FM 2005. I stopped supporting SI on an yearly basis as I did for so long since CM 2000/2001 (though I had CM 1998). Also absurd these PC titles jumped from $29.99 to $49.99 without the core game warranting such.
Edit: To clarify, I stopped buying FM since 2012 and I see the same issues remain. Salaries, transfers, match engine madness, strategy changes that do nothing, etc.
That's a shame to read this (even more unrealistic stuff on top of the action movie stuff), everything pushing to be more like Call of Duty is annoying.
