[QUOTE="tonyleo01"][QUOTE="sireclaborn"]i can't see square holding the finished ps3 version and not making money off it. now if its a couple of months i can see them doing it. but the 360 version hasn't even been touched yet. a whole year of no profit while the ps3 version just sits there. i think squares going to release the ps3 version first in japan then america while the 360 version comes out in 2010.sireclaborn
not if MS can help it, and i'm pretty sure they can.
that would mean ms would have to throw out a hell of a lot of money. not worth it that money should be spent on making new games.
They paid 50mil for DLC...i can see them paying
[QUOTE="Gunblade20"][QUOTE="Malta_1980"][QUOTE="Gunblade20"][QUOTE="GARRYTH"]for one 8.5 to 9 on the web does not equal medio. it was there first fps sso i think they did a good job.Malta_1980
Actually it was there 2nd, they made disruptor in 96 i believe
yep and Disruptor was a good game back then :)
yeah, Insomniac doesn't make bad games which is why they are my favorite developer, with blizzard being 1A :)
same here Insomniac are one of my fav devs.... also they usually meet deadlines and deliver what promised
will you be buying R2?
er dude the processing power is just about equal if not better on the X360! the 360 CPU has a lot more power for general processors. while PS3 SPE's are made for very specific ones. also the X360 has an advantage by having more memory in the graphics card.Great_Ragnarok
I thought they both had 512mb of memory?
[QUOTE="Gunblade20"][QUOTE="chazasul"][QUOTE="mstc_Q"][QUOTE="angelkimne"]But 360 isn't the same in hardware sale, that's the Wii.chazasul
The Wii isn't a traditional gaming platform, nor will it ever be.
It's something else entirally, so I tend to ignore it in comparisons like this.
It most definately can't replace other systems if you like Traditional gaming.
That doesn't change the fact that it does take sales that could have gone to the other two platforms.
I don't think this is true. The people who are buying the wii aren't people who normally buy a game system anyway.
Of course there are. Just because the wii sales are being driven by the casual market doesn't mean there aren't plenty of game enthusiasts who chose Wii over the other two consoles.
But i don't know anybody who owns just a wii.
In terms of studios yes. In terms in quality titles no. people buy a nintendo console on first party games alone. People buy a Sony console mostly for 3rd party and a few first party games (ie. GoW and GT).[QUOTE="choasgod"]Yea SONY's first/second party stuff is on par with Nintendo.
I mean they have - Singstar, Eyetoy, Resistance 2, Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance: Retribution, LocoRoco 2, Patapon 2, God of War 3, MAG, Team ICO projects 1 and 2, Linger in the shadows, PixelJunk games(Racers, Monsters, Eden, Dungeon), New Japan Studio game, Fat Princess, Flower and more all in devlopment at the moment.
If SONY's world-wide-studios was to keep growing i think SONY would suffer from trying to spread all the good games out ... especially with devs like Team ICO, Insomnaic(2nd party), Naughty Dog, etc.
too_much_eslim
This is the same for MS. They rely even more on third parties then Sony do.
Sony makes solid IPs that are really good to play. ie. Ico, SOTC, jak series, dark cloud series, rouge galaxy.

They both look great! The difference is GeOW is a classic and the first Killzone was horrible, I never understand why this is not brought up more?Khansoul
Because the 2nd game was much better, so the 3rd game looks to improve upon that .

I don't think this is true. The people who are buying the wii aren't people who normally buy a game system anyway. Some people actually believe that the wii helps you lose weight, lol.
