I have to agree that it is a MMO but it will NOT have any fees.

Like I always say, what does PS3 do that Xbox 360 doesn't do and better.

Soon to be 60 players online, and then 256 players online. I would also like to refer to Killzone 2.
[QUOTE="Millennium_King"]The PS3 is the king of creativity now? The only game remotely creative is LBP. It haven't played that yet. I have played Viva Pinata, and that game was very creative. Krigon
Just need to name one developer. Fumito Ueda.
Yes, I think he is one of the best. Top 3 easily

Not the king but they make very creative games. Ico, SOTC, patapon, loco roco, echochrome, and Flower to name a few. Also if anybody remembers this game Intelligent qube, that game was pure mind bending awesome, lol.
[QUOTE="Izzy12345"][QUOTE="Squall18"]Sony was close 2nd.
They had a great presentation, but like the IGN gamer poll, I agree that the 360 had that extra edge.
And it wasn't a huge edge, but it was still pretty sweet.
SeanBond
What extra edge? If its FFX3 its not that big a deal.
1) No sales in Japan where the game is huge
2) As demonstrated with GTA PS ppl stay loyal
3) Most hardcore die hard FF fans will likely still get PS3 as it will not only have future FF games but also FFX3 Versus and FF7 (likely)
4) The game will likely be better for PS due to graphics (as it was made for PS3) and single disc
5) Many Jrpgs have gone to 360 but they have not had the success of many other 360 games.
FFXIII is a huge deal. Not because the game itself is going to change MS's world, but because Square is bringing the next installment of their marquee franchise to the 360 on the exact same day as the PS3. As to the statement that the game will be better on the PS3...Maybe, but not by much; if you've paid attention to the way multiplats have worked this gen, most games are equal on both platforms with a couple favoring each. I doubt SquareEnix will have too many problems making the game look/run great on the 360, considering how easy it is to program for. Besides, if FFXIII does well on the 360, FFXIII Versus (which I personally have very little interest in, and I own a PS3) and FFVII (if it ever gets remade) may very well be ported also. The importance isn't the game, it's what it stands for.
As to the statement that JRPGs on the 360 haven't sold well...They wouldn't be selling screamingly on the PS3, either; shooters are the games that tend to gobble up the most sales, as they appeal most to the biggest market in the world (NA). However, Lost Odyssey sold fairly respectably, and it was essentially the only truly noteworthy JRPG on the system (Blue Dragon turned a lot of people off with its look, Eternal Sonata was relatively obscure and Enchanted Arms just wasn't much of a game). Final Fantasy XIII will sell great on the 360, because the Final Fantasy name just sells, period.
I think Sony owns anything FF7 related so it won't be on the 360, and FFXIII will sell yes but it may end being like GTA4 where it will sell lots of software but not much hardware. Also it isn't Day and date since its going to release in Japan as a ps3 exlusive and if you really want4ed to play it then you could just import it since the ps3 isn't region locked or has the same region number a japan at leastGOW3 Is impresive and it would have good single player but more value (everyone should agree with this) Online adds value God of war 3 doesnt have online (if they add some slashing crap yay i think no one cares how crappy it would be) Thus yes God of war 3 is going to be good but it isnt going to beat GoW2 in sales (not god of war 2 but Gears of war 2 or if the rumors of the next halo games squad based better online it wont outsell it. So techniqually it isnt a selling point im sorry sir.IvanElk
Well not having an online component doesn't mean the game is gonna be bad. I still think GOW3 will hit the 4 to 5 million mark, and its not competing against GeOW2, R2 is.
[QUOTE="Izzy12345"]I know I must be crazy. However let's think about it for a minute.
Sony clearly has the best value of all three systems. A complete entertainment center with Blu-Ray and so on. I know this is Gamespot where only games matter but when you need to justify a console purchase to you wife, gf, mom it makes more of an argument to say I'm buying a 400$ entertainment center as opposed to a 300$ gaming console.
Let's also face it, an article in "The Economist" called MGS4 the "last great third party game". So many game companies ultimately want to go multiplat. However staying 360 exclusive kills you in Japan and Europe but being PS3 exclusive you lose alot of potential earnings in NA. So if multiplat games are equal then the first party is what counts. As opposed to MS, Jack Tretton said in a Gametrailers interview that they anticipated many software producers going multiplat and instead of simply investing 50 million to keep GTA DLC it was smarter to invest to get Resistance 2 and a tonne of new IPs. In contrast MS respond with FF, singstar...Lips (ripped off Sony) and avatars...Miis just copying everyone else.
When you put together a complete system hardware wise, have the same multiplats as 360 and have better first party then perhaps Sony may have been on the right track all along. ...I also do recall the turtise beating the hare :)
Any thoughts?

I stopped reading after I read your first 2 sentences and realized you are lost in what you are talking about. Best value is easily the 360, movie rentals, community gaming, 8 way voice chat, avatars, xbox live, dvd playback, play from HDD, media streaming... all in one box and HD out of the box.
Put that together with all the games library that FAR outweighs the PS3 library, add better exclusives, and more of them, and you get the ultimate package. 360 ftw
Almost everything you named the ps3 can do. Ps3 now has movie rentals and purchasing, I really don't know what you mean by community gaming but i can talk to anyone on my friends list and set up a game with them, you can have the 8 way voice chat, but i only talk to people i'm actually playing with anybody else can wait. we can put avatars with home and X-box live with PSN. Ps3 also has dvd playback as well as blu-ray playback and i don't think you can count the HDD since not all 360 come with 1. and the ps3 has media straming if i am not mistaken
