I did prove it. I gave specific examples and pointed out flaws in FFXIII that are not htere in Uncharted. You ignored them because you are biased towards FFvalereth-1

These seemingly vague and relatively small examples prove only tiny facets of the entirety of both graphics engines. You are unequivocally biased towards Uncharted as I am with FF. At least I explicitly made my biases clear and forthright, as well as my opinions. You have in fact, proved nothing here, but your total unwillingness to listen to another POV.

I feel like I am watching a bad news cast were correspondents "prove" reality with chalkboards and hard-line talking points. This is by no means a debate, which i tried to initiate, but you once again trying to show how wrong I am with no real grounds for your arguments and furthermore opinions. I highly recommend taking a class in debate and analysis if you wish to truly "prove" anything in any sort of arena. I really can't waste any more time on these dead end discussions.       

Uncharted looks better than FFXIII.Bioshockraptor

As with Valreth, I disagree. Yet, as with anything in my professional or personal life I am always open to concrete refutations.

To address "Talking Points"-

As with any real field of analysis and discussion, actually prove it. Valreth surely didn't... Well, unless implicit, vague, and relatively out-of-context examples like hair defines the overall totality of graphics and FMVs; I need actual proof of a statement unless you explicitly define it as an opinion. I have yet to see anyone demonstrate themselves as a real expert with any sort of tangible proof except "It looks better", or the rhetorical structural formula of "The x is y because of z".

This is all forms of reality has no justification beyond what you or I see with our own two eyes. I own, love, and for the most part have beaten every single game in discussion here and still disagree. So, unless you want to outright label me as an ignoramus (if this is the case I will be glad to debate in the proper arena) it will be two, three, or however many individuals disagreeing over OPINIONS.

I would be more than willing for any intelligent outside source to look at the rhetoric devices of this discussion, and see all-in-all who are employing more reasonable terms to the topic at hand. I come from an environment where unless you have replicable and/or empirical evidence of a particular statement you are merely in the realm of speculation.          

Okay guys, lets just cool it now. Everyone likes different things, I guess, everything will be okay. :P

Another thing: Valreth, have you even played FFVII or FFX? I haven't played FFX, but I'll say that FFVII is indeed a good game. It's my second favorite 

Then everyone else: Have you even played FFIV, V, and VI? Most people here probably haven't. Bottom line is, lets not be so biased.

I used to think that only those who didn't give the older games a chance pissed me off, but now I realize that people who are closed-minded toward to newer ones make me mad too. Really now, why does it need to be like this?

Played them all. Still stand by my opinions. Nonetheless that is all they are, and I fully recognize that. 

FACT- What it comes down to is a continous and pointless discussion were I am told I simply don't get it, or am always wrong regardless of the situation.

Here's the deal. Everything Valreth has ever said on any of these boards in an OPINION. I am tired of being bashed or listening to really rude and poor discussion skills. I have been nothing but polite and tactful, and still end up in firing matches with the same dude. I am getting sick of it.     

VII and VIII are close for me 

FFIV, V and VI are all a hell of a lot better than VII and Xvalereth-1

   From an archaeological and historical standpoint FF games do AMAZING jobs in making references to ancient civilizations and cultures. I can't even begin to name them all. My fav is either reference to The Tale of Genji or the Mayan references from VIII. Being an archaeologist, this is one of my favorite aspects of FF games
