2011 is going to be insane after watching all of those trailers, we've got Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City, Forza 4, Resistance 3, The Last Guardian and the list goes on and on, I said this year will top 2007 and be the best year of all time and actually it did but next year gonna top 2010.

Age of Zombies.

Available on: PSP/PSN/iPhone, you can find it under the PS Store's miniS section if you want to play it on the PS3.

The game is a top-down zombie shooter, you may ask why you should play it?

YOU FIGHT A T-REX ZOMBIE!!

it has a funny story, the music is so 16 bit era and the gameplay is addictive, there are only 5 levels but all are greatly crafted and all offer new types of zombies you have never seen in any zombie related game/movies....etc.

all you have to do is survive the hordes of zombies to proceed to the next level.

BURN zombies BURN!!

Available on: PS3.

Another top-down zombie shooter but it offers different gameplay mechanics and it's actually harder.

Why you should play it?

YOU MAKE THE ZOMBIES DANCE WITH MJ's THRILLER SONG!!

the game's biggest feature is it's unique and awesome weapons you kill zombies with and there are funny one liners.

same as age of zombies, waves of zombies come at you, you should survive but at the same time there is an objective you should do before going to the next level, on top of surviving you should reach a score target to unlock the next level.

Comet Crash.

Available on: PS3.

Comet Crash is for fans of tower defense games genre, it's quite amazing and by amazing I mean it is by far maybe the best tower defense game I've ever played, offers good amount of content and replay value, you should try this out.

Shatter.

Available on: PC/PS3.

with it's fantastic music playing in the background, shatter is one of the best PSN games I've played, it is just an addicting engaging and fun experience that you should get ASAP.

I don't know where and what is the genre of Shatter but lets just say you can find it under the brickbreaking fun genre category.

PixelJunk Shooter.

Available On: PS3.

this awesome game is a shoot'em up type of game with puzzles elements on top of it, PixeJunk shooter looks wonderful, plays amazing and you will get addicted to how you could change each compound's characteristic when mixed with each other and forget about your main mission for a while.

Flower.

Available On: PS3.

Flower is just mesmerizing, it is the best game on the PS store imho, it just feels natural and sounds so peaceful yet it is has a powerful emotional journey while still entertaining you gameplay wise, Sony said they have created a new genre of games called zen gaming so yup that's the only definition I have for this type of game :P

Splosion Man.

Available On: Xbox 360.

Splosion man is funny, quirky, challenging and did I say funny? it's a great exploding platformer game where you play as the Splosion Man who can trigger his body to explode and rip scientists into pieces while escaping the factory, fun game and platformers fans should definitely give it a try.

Miner Dig Deep.

Available On: Xbox 360

this game goes under the addictive category of games, once you start playing the game you can't stop and you will lose the sense of time and you will get lost in that world for hours, so watch out this game is FUN, it's a puzzle type of game where you play as a miner who should dig deep :P no really you should dig and dig and dig and search and search and search for materials to have the ability to buy and upgrade for better equipment ( flashlight upgrade make it last longer, buy taller ladder, your bag will hold more materials...etc ) but you should know how to dig right because if you dig a straight 20 squares down for example you will not find your way up and you must restart from the beginning and all your material is lost.

Braid.

Available On: Xbox 360.

One of the best XBL games, Braid is an artistic puzzle platformer with a beautiful folk music, the gameplay is unforgiven but not cheap and if you see yourself dying all you have to do is press the rewind button to get back to your last move and if you want to rewind more you could too, this rewind feature is amazing and you could have fun playing with it, the rewind function also is part of the puzzle, there are puzzles that you can't solve without rewinding back and forth add to that some hard platforming backwords and you get one of the most challenging and innovative gameplay.

Blighted Earth.

Available On: PC ( I think )/iPhone ( search for "blighted Earth" you should find it, or purchase GAMEBOX 1 because it will come with another 36 full games , I bought it for $0.99 )

Im a sucker when it comes to tower defense games and this is another one of these games, it is your typical tower defense where enemies goes from side ( their head quarters ) to the other side ( your HQ to attack it ) and you should defend your HQ by placing turrets but be warned again you will be pouring so much time in that little game, first time I played for more than 4 hours straight non-stop.

CC Runner.

Available On: iPhone.

Think Super Mario Bros but 100X faster because you play as a ninja, cool game to play.

Im playing the single player campaign and all I can say is WOW :shock:

Black Ops might the best COD ever if the wow factor keeps coming.

Im playing on veteran difficulty, it is basically COD gameplay wise but with new surprises and the story so far is very interesting and I want to see what happens as I keep going.

all Im gonna say is the SP reminded of uncharted 2 because it is the most cinematic and the interactivity in these awesome moments is off the hook, it;s like playing uncharted 2 in first person.

and OMG at the soundtrack and the voice actors.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

LoS is a must buy game, it is one of the best Action adventure games out there this year and certainly the best 3D castlevania, graphically it looks phenomenal from a technical standpoint and also from an artistic standpoint, both looks incredibly crafted and gives the game a unique feeling and authenticity for the player.

The story is epic, from the great writing to the amazing narration and performance from the amazing cast for voice overs, it is dark, mythical and filled with emotions and plot twists, it is certainly a better story than any other recent action adventure game. It tells the story of Gabriel Belmont, A fierce warrior from a brotherhood who recently lost his wife Marie and he is looking for a way to bring her back from the dead, the story goes deeper throughout the journey as Gabriel meet friends and enemies.

gameplay wise it is great, engaging, fun and deep because it is part combat, part puzzles and part platforming and in each type of gameplay you will be tested to some challenging and hard obstacles in your way to the final moment of this game making it a deep and engaging experience from start to finish.

Lets begin with the combat department, since Lords of Shadow is very long to beat ( around 20 hours ) the game constantly rewards the player with new abilities, new combos and new upgrades to the primary and secondary weapons making it fall in a sweet spot between the God Of War series and the much deeper games like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaidan, the AI comes in groups most of the times between 3 to 8 enemies at once and they are pretty smart and hard to kill most of the time since they come as groups most of the times, larger and stronger enemies comes individually as they bring much stronger damage and they are smarter and harder to defeat, the dodge button can help you ALOT but not always, sometimes you need to block, dodge and counter attack foes to beat them all because sometimes stronger enemies comes with groups of smaller enemies providing the most challenging battles and you should bring all you have learned to go through to the next part to this epic journey.

On the platforming side of things, the game offers as much platforming as combat so in a way it feels like a good old Castlevania game, most of the platforming is offered for the sake of platforming but it doesn't feel boring because the environments are alway changing throughout the game and there will always be new ways to be engaged with it, there are some big time homage to the 2D Castlevanias where the camera changes to be like 2.5D and let the player jump around from one platform to the next one, it really gives a nostalgic feeling and the scenery in these 2.5D areas are just breath taking. One of the most platforming challenges is fighting titanic monsters that you should climb and hit their weak spots, think about Shadow of the Colossus but with breathtaking HD visuals and effects, if you love SOTC you will love this, it feels and looks epic, nothing drastically new to the table but there is the grip of the whip which plays a part in the huge battles.

Puzzles are great, they are the least represented in the game but that doesn't mean they are scarce and they are not run of the mill puzzles hands held while going throw in this game, there are easy ones but most of the times they are either intermediate to hard to figure out and sometimes there are the hard to figure but they are very easy and the solution is infront of your eyes type of puzzles so yea they are varied and there are secret items and places that could be discovered and acquired after getting new abilities that helps you reach these places.

in short, all you have to do is get this game and have fun.

Quick tips :

after beating the tutorial section of the game, press the start button, select the "extras" option then turn on.

1- damage appears on screen.

2- experience points appears in screen.

that will give you a cla$$ic nostalgic feeling to the game.

I just found out( read the first liked comment on the vid then follow ) the person behind the most iconic themes of the Castlevania series like vampire killer, bloody tears and Beginning is desperately looking for a job, can you believe that?

I really feel sad about that, kinyu yama$hita should be amongst the best and most legendary composers of all time and should be hired by the best, but that's life for you.

Diesel Only the brave IronMan edition, Im not kidding you, I tested out it smelt so freaking great so I said to the girl ok I'll get that, I checked the box and there was boxart for Iron Man and I was wtf? this is one of the coolest **** ever, an awesome fragrance for a kickass movie.

Sony's Google TV.

OMG that looked awesome, Im totally gonna upgrade to that, screw 3DTVs for a while, I'll upgrade in a couple of years again for a 3DTV but now because my old HDTV is just getting old and can't handle anything right now and this new TV is really cheap.

I just cameback from the local store and I got three new games and I can't wait to check them out :D

I got.

1- PES 11.

The king of football ( soccer for you noobs ) is back this year and it's ridiculously overhauled it's not even funny, the game's animation got on par with current gen standards, ball physics, gameplay and pacing all improved and I can't wait to play the full game.

2- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

this game looks to be an epic cla$$ic in the making, I liked the demo, I loved what I saw from the media footage, titanic monsters? check, amazing set-pieces ? check, the gameplay had a good feedback and was also good to play at last and it appears to be the transition the series always needed.

3- Enslaved : Odyssey to the west.

Heavenly Sword was an experiment from Ninja Theory and that what made the gameplay department in that game lacking deep mechanics and hours but the story itself was so good and memorable so I have faith in Ninja Theory's future and I think they will be the next big thing and Enslaved is sit to prove what Im talking about, the story looks as much interesting as their Heavenly Sword and the gameplay department has improvement telling from the demo and the footage I saw, hope it delivers.

gonna check Castlevania first.

Dead Rising 2.

Dead Rising 2 is the best zombie game I've ever played, forget about Resident Evil (post RE3 ), Left 4 Dead ( RE clone ) and every other zombie game, this is the game to get for infected zombie fans.

this is a gamers game, it has everything you want from a game and more , the game takes an old school approach, there is no waypoint to highlight where to go and the pointer only shows up for your selected missions, it doesn't take itself seriously, there is no regenerating health you have to eat and drink to regain health and that makes you more badass, there is a time limit ( 72 in-game hours ),there is no every 5 seconds checkpoints, hell, there is no checkpoints at all and save points are hard to find and saving is your job to do, forget about autosave, I LOVE THAT.

there are not much improvements from the first game but the small tweaks makes this sequel way better than the first, for instance, survivors are smarter, they are dummies no more and they can be a big help for you, just lend them some weapons from your inventory or from your surroundings and basically they will take care of themselves most of the time.

the major feature Dead Rising 2 offers is the combo weapons, this new feature gives the weapons a whole new dynamic and mechanic to play and experiment with, it is not "combine whatever you find and there will be a new weapon" but it's still offers a huge amount of combination to make, just mix a Gem with a flashlight for example and you will get a lightsaber and it's more powerful than the starwars lightsaber lol. You could make a flamethrower ( combine a water gun with a gas tank ) , a paddle saw ( chainsaw with paddle ), SUPER BFG...etc.

So all you should do is go to the nearest store and get this game as soon as possible.

And it almost killed me because that's how I felt about it, it started from around 12PM and kept getting stronger until 3PM and this is when it started to really hurt my whole body, I felt weak, I felt hungry and I couldn't get up from bed but I stood up to get some Aspirin.

I took two aspirin pills and went to sleep until 9pm, woke up and I felt alright but then I sensed some of the pian is coming again so I closed my eyes, went to sleep AGAIN and I just woke-up, it's 6am now.

I feel better now but omg my body was suffering alot, just count how many hours I slept to recover.

so how the heck I should treat a headache? anybody knows?

Don't you hate it when someone hits you from your back and basically you can't do anything ? don't you hate it when you know you could kill that person if you go face to face with him/her? don't you get mad when that person appears to be a 12 years old/7 years old kid?

Im talking about FPS games here, I know I got you :P

Developers should include a 180 degrees turn button/flick, I don't know why they don't put it? but whatever the reason is, Im sure it's stupid because no matter how much you put the aiming sensitivity the player still can't be fast enough to turn around and even when you turn around you have a small chance of winning that fight and to be honest I don't want to ruin my whole pacing on COD MW2 that Im used to and change the sensitivity for the sake of turning around.

And plz don't say Im a noob, Im good at FPS games and when I want to camp I could get pretty good scores but I don't have the patiencefor not moving around for the whole match it's just a strategy for the weak minded :P

Not a big deal but just wanted to know whats your take on that?

Case 39.

You have to see this movie because it is the bomb, Case 39 is one of the most intense nerve racking horror movies and there is a scene I can honestly say without any doubt it's top 10-20 most memorable conversation scenes ever in movies and in general the whole movie is terrifying, satisfying and entertaining, so put it in your next-to-see movie list and I hope you gonna like it :)

Zombie Apocalypse TV series premiering this Halloween :shock:

Thats the best thing to happen, stories told with an open environment is always a plus because there are lots and lots of ideas and stories that could be created and told within the world and this means the writers won't be held by anything which means if the first season is amazing then we can expect this series to continue and they could always grow and make it more exciting instead of becoming repetitive like what made Prison Break dull after a while and what made LOST an interesting tv show, can't freaking wait :D

MAFIA 2.

Mafia II is good a action adventure game takes place in empire city, the story takes place from 1940s through the 50s ( that's how far I am in the story so I don't know if it will go to the 60s or not but Im in the later chapters of the game so I don't think so ), the game depicts the atmosphere of that era perfectly and when it comes to authenticity Mafia 2 delivers better than most games.

however, it's not for everybody since it doesn't offer much outside of the main missions despite being the so called sandbox game, it is mostly a story driven game and is very different than most sandbox games, if you like action adventure games you will like this game because it is a linear action adventure game put into this huge hub world, much like inFAMOUS but it isn't because inFAMOUS on the other hand offers some side missions and other activities outside of the main story but you get the idea, the game is more restricted than most sandbox games and more focused on the main story, if you like Mafia stories you will like Mafia II and if you like games filled with authenticity and immersion, this game has it from the intense music that starts with most of the cutscenes to an amazing voice actors coupled with some of the best stealth missions you would encounter add to that some intense shootouts.

the game is just amazing.

this time it will be another Jrpg and it is also on the PS1, Im a sucker for JRPGs so sue me.

Wild Arms 1 is one of the best RPGs ever created, I don't remember if there was ever been a western $tyle RPG other than the Wild Arms series, what makes this game unique is the memorable characters, the great overworld map, the great turn-based combat and the setting like i said it is a western influenced art$tyle and theme.

I loved the puzzles, it had the hardest puzzles ever, I remember scratching my head lots of times in that game and puzzles were actually challenging unlike this generation's horrible and easy puzzles , yup I know you guys are surprised but this is true, an RPG that offers challenging puzzles.

Another amazing feature the game had is the ARMS, it was cool to play another game that offered something similar to the summons from the FF series.

So yea go and get this game like RIGHT NOW :P

I think it's exists in the PS store too.

Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition.

Why don't developers make games like this anymore:cry:

Wild Arms 2 is the best in the series and maybe is the best RPG ever, it has one of the most iconic and original characters ever created, that's all Im gonna say.

The game is a masterpiece, story, content, side missions with gigantic and huge monsters was one of the best things the game offered, gameplay is basically the same but still awesome just like the first, puzzles still exists and overworld map too.

Btw I didn't mention main characters have in-game abilities that will help you solve the puzzles just like like action adventure games do so yea that's another special feature the Wild Arms series had.

So if you want to see how RPGs were back in the days, go and try this series.
