I am into Shooters so i am getting Call of Duty 4 for christmas. Now would Mass Effect be a good game even though i dislike all otherr pg(WoW, Oblivion, or anything of the sort) without even playing them(they fit into my nerdy category but thats just me). The game just looks different and i want to get it. do you have to like rpgs or sci/fi(stuff like star trek) to actually like this game.

i don't know if this is just a rumor or not but if Jeff Gurstmann was fired over the game Kane and Lynch i am very sickened. Alot of people like him and for gods sake the game is a piece of **** anyway. If gamespot would fire someone over a company like game company getting mad because their game got a bad review, i would not like to work for them. If Jeff did get fired but for real reasons i would not be that mad, but if the rumor is true you my friends will drop in visitors by a large margin.
