What's up people? I accomplished something yesterday that took me 3 annoying hours. Take a look...

This TV thing is pretty sweet. It is able to rotate so I can always have a clear view. Only have the Wii and 360 in there but I am still deciding what else to put in. I guess it was worth the 3 long hours.

As for the Guitar Hero Tournament, it seems that I was not able to pass the first round. Basically, if you ever watched a great Guitar Hero video on YouTube, those guys took the top spots. So in that case, maybe I'll get em' next time.

Nothing much has been going on. I come on here every once in a while and read all of your blogs. I am in the process of looking for a job and that has mostly been taking up my time along with school work. Speaking of school work, I have some Excel assignments due in the morning and I should get on that.

Today was full of boredom, frustration, and relief.

Most of the frustration came from Call of Duty 4 on Veteran. Yes, I am STILL trying to beat this game and get most of the achievements and I know that you are getting sick of hearing that. I just beat that one mission where you are the snipers and you have to fend off the hordes of enemies. Most of my relief comes from finally finishing a level in that game because it is just crazy-hard at times.

I played a bit of Crisis Core not that long ago and that woman's voice, when you go into and out of a "conflict", is annoying the crap out of me. I have put in almost 7 hours total into that game and I probably have a long way to go.

Also, the Guitar Hero III tournament from GameSpot starts tomorrow, I think. I decided to participate in it and don't expect to get that far. But, you gotta have confidence right? If any of you guys entered it as well, good luck to you.

What else was I going to say...OH YEAH!

For those who may not have heard of this site, GoGamer.com, they offer a 48 hour madness sale that selects a few games or game accessories and cuts down their prices by a huge %. I don't know if they do this for popular titles, but it is always nice to check the site to see if something that you want is really cheap.

I almost died going to school today. I was driving down the street that the school is off of, minding my own business, when a big ol' truck, coming from the opposite way, decides that his side of the street isn't any fun and moves over till he is taking up about half of my side of the road. It happened so fast that I had no time to slam on the breaks because the truck would have went through me. I wound up pulling an action movie style car maneuver that I had to quickly pull right, hop onto the sidewalk, then quickly maneuver left to avoid hitting a tree and get back on the road to school.

Moving on, I want to thank everyone who gave me recommendations as to which racing game I should get for my 360. For now, I purchased this...

For personal reasons, I am on a somewhat of a tight budget and Burnout Paradise (the majority of recommendations) will have to wait. PGR3 was only $20 and it is pretty cool. The Kudos system makes the game more enjoyable because it makes the racing more arcade-like and less boring. I have to say that this game was a great value for $20 and whoever has this and wants to play, you know what to do.

Hey guys. I need your help. I am looking to purchase a driving game for the 360 and have no idea as to which one to get. I was looking at Forza 2 or Burnout Paradise. Both critically acclaimed games.

I know that they are both different types of driving games. I was leaning more toward Forza because I heard that it has some great features. Burnout has always been fun as a more arcade-like type of driving game. So I am having trouble deciding.

So I turn to you guys for help. If you also have another recommendation that is niether of those games, I would like to hear it. As long as I am able to try it out as a demo from the marketplace first.

Whew. What a crazy week I've had. The sickness is completely gone now and I can finally get back to what I love, gaming. Now, onto what I've been playing.

I have been flipping back and forth between my PSP and 360. On the PSP, I've been slicing and dicing my way through Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and loving every bit of it. On my 360, I've been playing some Call of Duty 4 single player on Veteran to try and get most of the achievements. Let me tell you, Veteran is not easy at all.

I don't really have all that much to talk about in terms of gaming. I am anxiously waiting for this account to reach level 10 so I can start to do my videos again. I am thinking of new things to do but at the same time, thinking of not to do anything over the top too early on. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I have a little question for you guys.

Do you happen to know from what game this guy is from?

Yesturday was one of the worst days for me this year. I felt like I was getting the flu and basically slept most of the day. When I was awake for a few hours (and didn't have a blistering headache), I was able to get some play time with Crisis Core and it took me a while to get used to the battle system, but I love it. The game is one of the best games right now on the PSP IMO and it has that feeling that you are back in the world of Final Fantasy VII that tugs on your nostalgic heart strings.

It kind of makes me want to replay Final Fantasy VII when I finish this game.

I first have to say that whoever started this, is the DEVIL! Lol JK! :D

1. I started playing video games when I was 2 years old. I kid you not. My family has home movies of me playing the NES when I couldn't even walk yet. Kids don't learn to walk until they are after 2 years old right?

2. I used to be a very clumsy person. I would fall over all the time and, in the process, broke my wrists for a total of 4 times (once on my left, three times on my right). I also broke my pinky or ring finger when I was little from trying to jump over a sprinkler... Not my proudest moment.

3. I used to try to be a skate boarder. During the end of 8th grade and on through 10th grade, my friends were really into the so called "Punk" lifestyle and I happened to adapt to them a little bit. I used to wear a bunch of skate clothes, spike up my hair for school and listen to a lot of Punk music. I eventually grew out of that and I am basically a fan of anything that sounds good, music wise.

4. I am a huge fan of tennis. Whether I play it or watch it on TV, I can't get enough. I played for my junior and senior years of high school and I had a blast with my friends. During my senior year, I was awarded MVP along with my doubles partner because we were AWESOME!

Saving the best for last...

5. I am afraid of the dark. A 20 year old man that is afraid of the dark is pretty pathetic right? But you gotta understand something, THE DARK IS SCARY! When I go to sleep at night, I have to wrap my blanket all around me so that it surrounds me when I sleep. I leave a little space open so I can poke my big Italian nose out to breathe.

So there you have it. For the next people to do this, I am tagging....EVERYONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN TAGGED TO DO THIS! You know who you are and you better think twice about not doing it because I will be watching from the shadows!

Finally! The Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack is now free and I am downloading it now. Why do people buy new maps if the developers eventually make them free? Why do the developers make them free at all?

Been playing my 360 a lot lately. Call of Duty 4 has gotten me re-hooked and I can't seem to put down that controller when I want to. I wanted to stay up and download, what I thought I read was going to become free today, the Halo 3 map pack but I guess it won't be free. Instead, I downloaded Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989 and that game is a blast from the past.

Now I'm off to sleep to fart on mean people in my dreams...

What's up people. Hope you all had a very nice Easter. I am writing this blog to hopefully get some help on a situation involving the 360 headset. Here is my little story.

The 360 headset that came with my system, from about a year ago, has worked flawless until now. When I plug the headset into the controller, I have to move around the wire to try and get a connection where I can hear the other person talking. It has become such a pain because even when I move it around and get a perfect connection, it still goes out and sometimes just doesn't work at all. I don't know exactly why this started happening but I have heard from a couple people that those Microsoft headsets can be faulty.

Maybe it was when I got really mad that one time playing Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting online and ripped the headset out of the controller and threw it against the wall.

If you couldn't tell, I was mad.

In the meantime, I have been using this...

Sorry for the blurry picture. It is my headset that I use for my cell phone. It is very similar to the Plantronics headset that they made for the 360. The problem with this headset is that I have to talk REALLY loud in order for it to recognize my voice. It can be very irritating when I talk for a long time and realize that no one can hear me.

So my question to you all is this, should I shell out $20 and go with another Microsoft headset? Is there another headset that any of you use that is cheaper and much more reliable and better than the Microsoft headset?
