Lets think hypothetical for a minute.. Lets say that their was no such thing as first party exclusives at all, so anything goes.. Lets say that if PS3 and 360 where both out and games such as Halo 3, Gears of war, Resistance,Socom,Uncharted,Killzone 2,Mass Effect and etc etc all appeared on both the PS3 and 360.. Then which console would win??! I know this is a VERY hypothetical situation but its intresting to think about.. I would have to say the PS3 would win by far.. I mean with ingame XMB coming around the corner just imagine being able to play Halo 3 and Gears of war online for FREE! and also being able to play it on a more reliable console with more features..
Its kind of funny, the only thing i have been playing on my 360 for the last month is GRID demo and i plan on buying it in the next few days because it truely is the best racing game ive played this far, but it only got a 8.0 here?! ok Forza 2 got AAA, PGR got 8.5 hell even Dirt got 8.5 here.. So basically Motorstorm got a 7.9 (which is basically a 8.0) and Grid got the same score when its obvious and all the other reviewers agree that Grid is easily a AAA title and definatley much much better than Motorstorm??!! What gives!!!!
I mean people complain that its not a snoozefest sim like Forza, but if you ask me its racing sims like Forza and gran turismo that killed the racing genre!! GRID is the only game that seems to be reviving the genre but yet it gets underscored!
i kind of like it. It's not perfect, but still a good (not great, but good) game. i still have it and I've beaten it and I don't plan on selling it since i probably wouldn't get enough for my trouble and i'm okay with this sitting in my collection. bulletsword
I think for me its a age thing.. Like when vice city came out i was still in my teens and multiplayer wasnt as popular as it is now.. Well now im 24 and i find myself liking more tactical skill based shooters like Gears, Rainbow six etc
Its really wierd.. I get this feeling that xbox live might be dying down some.. For example i remember back several months ago when COD4 and Halo 3 came out, i would atleast see 10 or more people on my friends list signed on playing at once but in the last couple months everytime i turn on my 360 i only see maybe 3 or 4 people at a time.. Is it because of the summer or what?! I dont think its that because even last summer my friends list was always booming but now there is only a few friends here or there on, and the strange thing is when GTA IV came out, i hardly saw anyone online playing that.. I remember when Halo 3 came out about 15 people where always signed on ALL playing Halo 3 and it was great.. So is Xbox live dying down or what?!
I dont know what happened .. I was so pumped about this game when it first came out and i was even more pumped after all the 10 reviews then i got home and played it and wow i was amazed at how boring it is.. A.the script sounds like something a 12 year old would write. B.the cars controlled awful. C. the multiplayer was a snoozefest and D. it just lacked the overall personality of Vice city.. Vice city in my opinion is still the best one no doubt.. So yea, this game went up on ebay after 4 days of owning it and i dont regret it one bit.. Anyone else do the same thing or feel the same way?!
Oh and the DLC lol dont even get me started on that.. by that time games like Gears 2, Resistance 2,Little big planet, motorstorm 2, TOO human and Banjo will be out not to mention Socom.. Who in the right mind would pay 20 plus dollars for DLC for this game?!
