No. I can sit on my butt and play on my PC/Consoles 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days a Week, 365/6 Days a Year, and.... I won't gain a single pound/kg higher than my normal weight.ShadowDeathX
That's because you do nothing but game, start eating.
There isn't another console shooter than runs at 60 frames per second and plays as smooth or looks as good. It's amazing how the overall internet gaming community talks so much crap about a game that any other FPS Dev would dream about creating. COD is the closest thing to a PC game on console because of that amazing framerate. And to the idiots that say it's easy to get a kill in COD compared to other FPS games, that's because it's realistic. 95% of the time 5 consecutive bullets will kill you, and 1 to the head will also! Who wants to pump 30 bullets from an assault rifle into someone to take them down?
i was addicted to skyrim when i got it

Not anymore though? I have it but haven't played too much due to Dark Souls. Demon's Souls/Dark Souls got me by the balls.
I'm so engrossed in Dark Souls, it's all I think about. Even when the game pisses me off and I rage quit I still go back like a fiend.
I think it is way too early. I personally wouldn't mind not hearing about a new console until at least 2015.

Gears of war 3 came out with few technical issues. The game play is butter smooth and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It also had a two in a half year development time with the full team of Epic creating it. This isn't exactly the same for Uncharted 3. ND had half its team working on "there baby". About 3/4 through development they found literally half the game was utterly malfunctioning on older gen consoles. And it had a regular two year development time. The broken shooting is obviously testament as well as the other copious issues befalling Uncharted 3. ND literally stated they'd rushed Uncharted 3 to completion. And that's not all. Gears of war 3 is a spectacular conclusion to the series, and the general consensus is that it is far superior to its predecessor Gears of war 2. The reason being is first of all; its multi-player isn't utterly broken. It actually runs quite nicely; especially with the dedicated servers and polished game play mechanics. (Uncharted 3 lacks dedicated servers; its multi-player is terribly un-balanced with failed CoD like mechanics and has fallen of the top 10 Game fAQ charts as of recent). The SP has been touched up with a far superior story, as I stated previously. And 4 player co-op, with arcade and an even longer campaign. (Uncharted 3 lacks co-op, has a shorter campaign and the story is an absolute mess filled with plot holes and points [such as cruise ship] which doesn't even make sense.) Not only that, but after all the additions to Gears of war 3. It adds beast mode, a cool off mode which breaks up bore a tenfold. Something Uncharted 3 lacks innovation as a whole. In conclusion, I think any one from a non-bias stand point can agree after reading this which game is superior. It's sad when a sequel fails to outdo its predecessor, and literally the overall belief is Uncharted 3 is inferior. Once the dust clears and the fanboysm stops, I think we'll find Uncharted 3 ends up very much like Gears of war 2 did.RoflCopteryy
Uncharted 3's puzzles and pacing kinda annoyed me, but Naughty Dog is a professional development team, meaning they produce a game that has a locked framerate with no screen tearing. Gears of War 1,2,3 all have horrid screen tearing issues and Epic is like a bunch of teenagers making a game with corny dialogue/story plus the major technical issues like screen tearing. Uncharted 1 had that issue but the Devs fixed it in 2 and 3 is butter smooth. The story in the Uncharted franchise obliterates the Gears franchise as well.
I have been neglecting my ps3 recently over my 360. Id prefer it to be an exclusive. Ive played mag and socom 4 online.

Uncharted 3 has amazing Coop and Multiplayer, also Killzone 3 is awesome.

What's so special about Dark Souls? i havent actually played the game so i want say to much but ive seen alot of gameplay videos etc.
So why is the game good? from what ive seen and read its because the game is insanely hard, the gameplay looks weak, the story looks weak its just that the game is hard to beat that makes the game good?
Why not just lets say get skyrim and play on master difficulty then they are equal in terms of difficulty or play any other game on the hardest difficulty... if you want a challenge dont play on super easy.

The game is not hard, what makes this game the best of all time is exactly the fact that the game gets easier as you get better at it and it feels hugly rewarding when this happens
This feeling of reward for your experience and actual gameplay mastering than only dice roll number effects makes this game the best of all time for me that also love its art more than any other game beside Fable
It also has hands down the best combat system i have played with in a RPG, it is the Ninja Gaiden of RPGs for sure, Skyrim gameplay and combat in comparisson is laughable in all difficulties
Also has like 10x more varity in areas, monters and boses than Skyrim and is a relistic hardcore game and not a simplistic casual affair like Skyrim

Succeeding in the game is what makes it special. You have to really want it when playing a game like this. If you're a gamer that didn't grow up playing NES than you won't understand more than likely. Games like Ghosts and Ghouls are what this game is reminiscient of. You have to be skilled, have incredible patience, and just be a hardcore gamer plain and simple. The amazing art style, combat mechanics, animations, boss battles, level design, enemy variety, sense of accomplishment and exploration are pretty much incomparable. The game isn't for everyone and if you just started gaming this Gen then you most likely won't be able to handle or understand how incredible it truly is. It takes a lot of time to get through the beginning which is insanely hard, not playing Demon's Souls to understand the game mechanics won't help either. Dark Souls is way harder than Demon's Souls. Demon's Souls is like a tutorial for Dark Souls.
