I didn't realize that the recommendation thread was of use, I never get my questions answered in there.

WiiMan21
Killzone 3 100% in my opinion.

Whatever, I have no reason to lie. I have sold the game two times, this is my third copy. Believe me yet? I'm determined to beat it on my own completely, I have beaten every boss on my own with ZERO help, NOTHING. I'm currently stuck on Maneater and Old Hero, VERY VERY HARD. I will figure them out eventually though, just like the others, it just takes a lot of time. I have put more than 150 hours into the game and haven't completed it yet.

i appluad you for doing that.

but what im saying is.. what if you put all this work and after you beat it you end up not liking it as much for some reason... then all the work you did was fail because your left with a negative impression of the game. where as a person who used help maybe will enjoy the game much more.

I actually love the game's atmosphere, it's beautiful and I appreciate the challenge. I'm determined to finish it on my own no matter how long it takes me. I also was pretty much a shooter only gamer and I kinda just dove into Demon's Souls. The only other RPG I have played this gen is Fallout which isn't very comparable to Demon's Souls. This is the reason why it owned me, but once I figured it out, I have nearly mastered the melee/parrying system and created a nicely balanced character with strong magic and melee. I have no doubt that when I eventually finish the game I will be extremely happy, it did cost me lots of money, time, and frustration but oddly enough it has been worth it so far so I know it will be worth completing.

[QUOTE="HardGames420"]I'm more than halfway through the game and NEVER used the wiki or ANY kind of help whatsoever. It's a lot more rewarding if you figure it out on you own, much more time consuming but I believe this is the way the game should be played. The learning curve is incredibly steep in this game, the difficulty is brutal, but it's a phenomenal game. NOT for everyone though.KBFloYd

[QUOTE="Blackjack9288"][QUOTE="HardGames420"][QUOTE="JasonDarksavior"] I thought it was broken...constant flashbacks ruined the game for me and the plot was in pieces.

I thought it was excellent, go play Halo or COD, there's plenty of other games that have full auto aim brah, Killzone isn't for everyone. On topic, I just picked up the Helghast Collectors Edition even though I have the game already because it's just that amazing and I wanted that Helghast Helmet BAD. So fahqing worth it.

That has nothing to do with what he said lol. To be honest, when I first started the game it was awesome, but the more I play it the more I am getting an overall Meh feeling about it, especially the singleplayer.

Play the MP, it's addicting. I just picked up a KZ3 PS3 bundle from Best Buy :)

I played it on 360, what does it matter if the PS3 version looks worse or not? The game doesn't look that good at all on both systems.

Whatever you say bud.

Add something to the thread or don't post, I don't have time for your trolling.

The trolling of killzone 3 is outta control, Gears 3 comes out I'm trolling hard.

Just played the multiplayer demo today, my God does it look atrocious. Pier 17 looks like ass on top of more ass. The stage looks unfinished:( Skyline looks decent but I can't believe people have the audacity to say it compares to Killzone 3. I know 360 fans don't have any other games to hype but Gears 3 this year but cmon, Resident Evil 5 looks better than this game:? Killzone 3 looks miles better and plays better for the most part. Why on earth are people hyping this game. I wouldn't even put it in the top 10 of best looking games this gen. Im hoping the real game looks better because I'm highly dissapointed.

1Stark1
Killzone 3 is one of the most striking looking games. The art direction is ridiculous, the game looks gorgeous. It plays so incredible as well and has one of the most convincing atmospheres, the player truly feels as if they are a soldier in the battlefield on this dark and gritty planet.

wouldn't be surprised, the multiplayer is largely a POS, and the campaign is just laughable.

Dead-Memories
No no, you didn't play the game so please don't be such a blatant troll. And as for Guerilla Games and sales of their newest entry into the Killzone franchise, I just picked up a Collectors Edition and KZ3 PS3 Bundle. How's that for you Halo Reach Trolls?

If its anything like 2 then I'm sure its pretty tough. I will never forget Visari's palace. Never. MrSelf-Destruct
Yea dude, I passed the palace on the next difficulty level after normal and it was sooo hard, the AI is brutal. I couldn't beat Radec though, I gave up lol.
