I'm almost finished with Demon's Souls and never used the wiki or youtube, no strategy guide, and I have never summoned anyone. Just beat Maneater(easily took me 20 attempts) and Old Monk. I'm now stuck on Old Hero and then the next boss and that's it, I have slain almost every demon in the game with ZERO help from anyone. I did sell the game out of frustration three different times though before it finally clicked and I could figure it out on my own. It has easily taken me 150plus hrs to figure this entire game out on my own and complete it. The only reason I kept coming back to it is because the atmosphere and content is some ofmy favorite fantasy lore(Dragons, Dark magic, monsters, evil knights, etc.)Wow, it's easily the best game this Generation hands down and I can't wait to complete it entirely SOLO. Anyone else able to do this, play the entire game solo with no help whatsoever except what's offered in game?

R2 is amazing, I'm playing through it again right now.More than likely...I really liked the second Resistance.

Like Rico.
He actually fits into the Killzone universe very well, something you wouldn't know.Demon's Souls and the sequel Dark Soul's is the perfect example to your question, so yes.Folklore, Mirror's Edge, Alan Wake, Zack and Wiki and I am sure there are many more examples of great new games that although failed to garner the sales they deserve have been applauded by gamers for being new and interesting experiences. I know the devs and and especially publishers expect big sales but is that reasonable demand? Don't you think it would be better for a publisher to at least give such games another try just based on fan demand? After-all when you look at all the best selling franchises there was a time where they too had difficulty with sales, it was only when devs pushed the games with new releases and improvements that the IP's became successful. It would be foolish of other developers and publishers to just stop making sequels to improve an existing formula, such improvements are usually what new IP's need to get noticed the public eye. And if publishers back off from wanted to make a sequel it would be a shame to let such amazing games just die or live as experiences with unrealised potential.
