after you beat the main story can you keep swining around the city like the other games?cthecoffee
Nope, you can't. Forgot to mention that in my earlier post. That really annoyed me. What a load of rubbish.
As a fan of previous Spiderman titles, I had to try this one. I must admit, it's A LOT better than the others.
Gameplay 7.5
It's a pretty good game, lots of things in manhattan to keep you entertained. Pretty decent AI. Somewhat challenging at times.
Graphics 7.5
Better than a lot of the other Spiderman games, but still somewhat standard. I'm not mad though seeing as how they made a pretty full, plush city to play around in.
Controls 8.5
Very easy, but it doesn't make you feel dumb like some games. I liked them a lot. Camera can be a bit off on rare occasion, but for the most part, awesome, natural controls.
Voice Acting 4.5
Awful voice acting. Worst part of the game. But it grows on you after a while.
Storyline 5
Same ol' standard, must save the world from being completely taken over type storyline. I was happy with it.
Replay Value 8.5
Good game to take a break with. I play it when I get frustrated with my FPS games and etc. Great fun to watch, beautiful and graceful.
Worth $60? 7
Almost. I'd spend at least $45 on it easy.
Hope that helps!
Its annoying, Gamespot is a joke for using a .5 rating system. That is not a credible way to score anything...MickeyTheNinja
That's a stupid thing to say. There's a thin line between 6 and 7 that can usually mean a good game or a bad game, so the .5 helps when you're undecided. Plus, I was able to give Aqua Man a (well deserved) score lower than 1, thanks Gamespot!
Saint's Row Pros: Great custimization, loads of "immature" fun.
GTAIV Pros: Spectacular graphics, solid story line, very realistic.
then...
Saint's Row Cons: Subpar graphics, simplified missions, corny voice acting, terrible driving system.
GTAIV Cons: Repetitive side missions, lousy custimization, janky online play.
There ya go, short and sweet. Pick your features, play your game. Peace!

hell i hope not, what do u ppl see in this game? grey, post apocolytpic crap (literally crap) scattered around everywhere and u scrum around in filth.7jack
What do I see in this game? I see a very accurate depiction of the consequences mankind could suffer from our own greed and ignorance. I see it displayed in a very realistic manner. Not vibrantly enhanced for simple minded individuals such as you. As for the "crap" scattered everywhere...what else would you expect to see after nuclear warfare, pink bunnies handing out Best Buy gift cards? And by the way, you spelled apocalyptic wrong.
looks boring as hell if u ask me, doesnt have the same flare as elderscrolls7jack
There is a reason that it doesn't have the same "flare" as Elderscrolls. That reason is because it's NOT Elderscrolls. Wow...
and why is everything 1950s themed when this nuke went off in the yr 2077 according to the game!?!?!?7jack
This theme represents how we can build so much in life and then destroy it over something so trivial. I think it's themed that way to show how we would revert back to a simpler time, or "try again" since we obviously couldn't handle our technological advancements.
most overrated game of the yr if u ask me, nothing like oblivion in a bad way7jack
I'd say it's not for everyone, but again...the whole "not like Oblivion" aspect is completely rediculous. They weren't trying to recreate Oblivion when they made this. They intertwined the best of both worlds. Fallout's already credible series combined with Bethesda's unique take on how RPGs operate. A+.
