Alright after my recent crusade to play any sonic game i can get a hold of, its almost over....just gotta play Shadow the Hedgehog starting tomorrow:D Then i can catch up for some lost time. Might be on less since i have yet to play:

inFAMOUS, Prototype, Fight Night Round 4, GhosdtBusters,KillZone 2, Fracture, BIGS 2, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

*THIS IS A BLOG UPDATE FROM MY LAST BLOG*

As most of you know, i had some PS3 problems: at first my XMB wouldn't show up, then later i would turn on the system and only a black screen would show up.....PROBLEM SOLVED, well sort of:| I fixed it but now when i turn it on i get this message: "The hard disc's file system is corrupted and will be restored." Will this wipe my hard drive clean, i just wanna know ahead of time so i'm not surprised:| Now i will share my wisdom:P :lol:

If your PS3 ever just displays a black screen or fails to display the XMB, simply do the following:

1. Make sure yur PS3 is turned off on the back of the system.

2. Hold your index finger on the power button on the front of the system.

3. Turn on the system by flipping the power switch on the back of the system(do not remove your finger from the power button)

4. Keep your finger on the power button, the system will turn on, make a couple of beeps, then turn off.

5. remove your finger then PRESS the power button and you will be prompted with the same message i recieved.

This problem is usually a Software or Firmware problem and doing this will remove the corrupted data from your system(if not everything)

On a side not if any of you suffer from the RROD(360) or the YLOD(PS3) , wrap your system in DAMP(not wet or soaked) towel until it cools down so leave it in the towel for 1-5 minutes, this will provide you with the oppertunity to back up all your data to either your computer or another external or internal hard drive. But you will have to send in your system, most likely, so be quick and transfer your data then send in your system.

I mention that in tribute to friend who's 360 has suffered from the RROD, may your system RIP SymonDezyn:cry:

OK, so instead of a list....i'm gonna gather the 4 Press conferences(minus MS, not much there from what i hear) for those who didn't see them or missed a part or two. Read carefully cause there are NO TYPOES. There are some MAJOR SHOCKERS and for W-Wolf.....now im 2/5, you'll see;)

EA Press Conference

>EA Sports: MMA --- EA announced that there getting into the MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) thing. This is probably probably cause of UFC 2009. EA does the Fight Night Boxing series so this should be interesting to say the least.

> The Sabatoer --- This exciting game looks awesome. Kinda like a World War II era GTA....kinda. It's a massive sandbox game much like GTA & Saints Row, minus the perspective. You play a man on a revenge mission against the Nazies in Paris, France, its kinda hard to explain, watch the vid from the conference. NOTE: EA said you CAN climb to the top of the Eiphel (?) Tower.

> Brutal Legend --- this game thati at one time doubted, is looking GREAT! Many rock Music Legends. Ozborne, a chick dressed like KISS(she is known but i can't remember her name), The dude from Motorhead, and other BIG Old-School Rock Legends. This good looking action game is a Rock celebrity powerhouse thats will have my attention.

> Star Wars: The Old Republic --- This new Star Wars Prequal game is looking damn good. With the ability to play on the side of Jedi AND Sith, plus massive online play, is giving this game some attention. This might just suck in even gamers who don't know star wars(like me. althoughthats about to change).

Ubisoft Press Conference

> Avatar --- This new game may actualy be the best movie tie in. According to Ubi, they've been working on this game for 4 years and it won't follow the movie AVATAR, but will follow it's universe/world. It is showing promise & potential for movie tie-ins. Watch closely game developers, you might just learn something!!!

> Splinter Cell: Conviction --- OK this DOES NOT MAKE SENCE. SC has been on PS for YEARS and Conviction isn't doing anything the PS3 can't do, but it is 360 exclusive....for now. see, while MS is bad at taking our exclusives, sony is ery good at it. Just look at BioShock, Ninja Gaiden, Lost Planet, Saints Row 2. Coviction will probably be ported to PS3 soon enough, i hope....and if not, WE STILL HAVE MGS4 so kiss my a** !!!

Nintendo Press Conference

> Final Fantasy: Crystal Bearer --- This new FF game might be Wii's first GOOD game since Metroid Prime 3. This new game has some descent graphics and a decent story, definitely a title to check out for Wii owners. After all, you should have at least ONE good wii game this year.

> DS --- The DS gets some love too. Kingdom Hearts andGolden Sun(YEAH) are coming to the DS. As well as a new game: C.O.P. which is looking good. Looks like Nintendo is showing some hardcore gamers some Handheld love.

Sony Press Conference (time for the real shockers)

> MAG --- Sony finally showed some actual gameplay for MAG, the game with over 200 players possibleonline. It showed why it is one of the most talked about games. Great graphics, little to no lag....damn this looking up.

> Uncharted 2: Among Thieves --- Almost a full level of gameplay was shown for thishighly anticipated sequal. Drake never looked more BadA** !!! Jumping, explosions, guns....doesn't get much better than that. If you liked the first one, you'll LOOOOVE this one.

> Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines --- This new PSP games looks promising.It can only be expected to be set in Italy since you can hook up this PSP game(via USB) to your PS3 to aquire 8 unique weapons in Assassin's Creed II. That alone is worth it, but little else is known about it.

> Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker --- THIS NOT A SPIN-OFF. This new MGS game is for the PSP and is a direct sequal to MGS3, set ten years after it. the graphics look great, but not much else is known at this time.

> Resident Evil Portable was announced, thats all we know but its still big news. PSP Resident Evil...need i say more.

> A montage of short footage was shown for there future PSP games, and they showedwhat looked like inFAMOUS. Can't be sure. But it would be sweet. Just an observation, they didn't say so but i'm still certain.

> OK Whitewolf725 , prepare to call me Psychic:P THEY ANNOUNCED FINAL FANTASY VII AS A PS1 CLASSIC FOR THE PSN, they also said 50 other titles could come to the PS1 classic list.final Fantasy XIV :o for 2010. DAMN XIII isn't even out yet. Oh and FFXIV is PS3 EXCLUSIVE!!!!!! :D

> Sony unveiled there PS3 Motion Controller. It's 2 sticks with balls on them(no one put tescular jokes) its just a prototype to show the technology but its awesome, even getting more praise than the Wii Mote ever did, it does some coll things cause its tracked by the PlayStation Eye.Watch out Wii, you got some competition.

> God of War III --- They showed about the first 5 minutes of this great game to conclude this awesome trilogy(they said no more GoW after this). They showed some awesome gameplay we'de expect. Check it out.

----A announcement made from the MS conference----

> That MGS teaser, was Metal Gear Solid:Rising. This new MGS game that is expect to be across 360, PS3, and maybe Wii, is focused majorly on Raiden from the MGS series. nothing else was said, and regardless that it was said at the MS conference, it is expected to come on at least 2 platforms....but no platform has been announced.

5. Jin Kazama

The introduction of Jin has been the biggest move out of most others. Jin has became the focal point of Tekken ever since his Intro way back in Tekken 3. He has suffered the worst transfermation, of all the other Mishima bloodline Devil Genes, even that of Kazuya who at times bears an actual devil appearance. Jin's attire, moves, and background have been the most notable of the past 3 tournaments.

4. Devil Gene

The Devil Gene is a genetic trate in the Mishima family bloodline that tipicaly grants enhanced strength, and in some cases, a "Devilish" alter appearence. This is most notable in Jin & his father Kazuya, although it's unknown ifHeihachi has a "Devil Form". The genes first memorable appearence was when Kazuya transformed into Devil to be the final boss in Tekken 2.

3. New member of the family

Ever since Tekken 2, a new member/ego has been introduced. Tekken 2 introduced "Devil" Kazuya, Tekken 3 introduced Jin Kazama, Tekken 4 introduced Jin's Devilish tendencies and rage, and Tekken 5 introduced Jin's Devil form, his young cousin, and his long dorment Grandfather. This little family feud has evolved from a bickering father & son(Heihachi and Kazama) to a full fredged family tree trying to kill each other to gain ownership of Mishima Organization. Now Jin owns it all and wants dear old dad dead, nothing like a family feud.

2. More than just a Tournement

Some of the best tekken games have had some"extra fun",Most notably, Tekken 3 & 5. T3 had TekkenBall and Tekken Force, its note worthy that T3 is considered the best of the series. T5 had an extreme extras overload with T3 as an extra along with Devil Within. Can T6 top it? We'll find out.

1. New Additions

Every Tekken Entry has had some new charectors that make a lasting impact on the players. Eddy, Christie, Jin, Lars(T6), ect.... The list goes on, each T roster gets bigger and better. And T6 is said to be the biggest yet. And this"Lars Alexandersson", rumwered decendent of Heihachi, looks to give Jin a run for his money in style.

OK, so those of us with PS3's(or PSP's) noticed a recent addition to the PS1 classic's download......Resident Evil: Director's Cut!!!!!!! :o :shock:

I DID NOT know it was coming out, but it is offly coincidental ya know? :P (go to my previous blog for the irony).

So we finally got classic download of massive proportion. Maybe this is a sign of thingsto come, So i guess MGS1 is next :lol: Damn i'm good:P :D So i'll see ya all Tomara:P

5. The Origonal Resident Evil

Resident Evil: Director's Cut the best rendition of the first great Horror-Action game. The first Resident Evil has long been desired for the PSN by many, maybe even now-so since the release of Resident Evil 5. Traps, Puzzles, Multiple Campaigns, RE1 had it all and them some. ThisOld-School horror game defined this genre of video games.

4. Metal Gear Solid

This game practacly defines PS1 origonal, the very first MGS game set the tone for all others at that time. Thisawesome shooter with the over-head view(like the flashback scene from MGS4) made the gameplay harder, better, and also made it look a little more retro. Metal Gear Solid took gamers by storm and is still considered one of the best PS1 games ever.

3. Final Fantasy VII

This game isn't the most desired, but has been the most vocal. FFVII has gotten bigger as time has gone on, especially after Crisis Core. This well known Final Fantasy game set the tone for most future RPG's that followed it(and not just FF games). Being infamous for the death of that dittsy blonde chick(forgot her name), VII been begged for by PS3 owners everywhere since it's obvious by this point that it isn't getting a full fledged PS3 remake...gamers have been relentless for this to released onto the PSN. Come on Sony, you'd make more money than you know what to do with.

2. Legend of Dragoon

One of the PS1's best RPG's, and one of my personal favorates, Legend of Dragoon comes up less often than most but is heavily desired by hardcore gamers noe-the-less. LoD was different, unique, lengthy, and awesome. This Old-School game has a hefty loyal following that isn't afraid to backup thisPS1 game.

1. Tony Hawk Pro Skater

How can we leave out the game that not just made Hawk a household name but also paved the way for games like Grind Session, Street Sk8er, and even Skate. Without the success of this origonal, most of us(and as i hate to admit it, myself) wouldn't havea freaking clue about about the sport of skateboarding. THPS nearly doubled this sport's global audience and showed that extreme sports can be portrayed in games quite well. And if Tony Hawk: Ride doesn't hit it off(this perifial has got me a little worried), they might need to put this on the PSN or Skateboard games might die out in a few years since EA screw it up like everything else they touch.

inFAMOUS Demo:

The long awaited demo for this long awaited game is finally out. It may not be the hardest thing out there, but it does take a little getting used to.....like 10-15 minutes. It shows finominal potential and has great graphics. The powers and free-aim systems isn't that bad since if your low on health you just gotta zap some electricity out of something, or someone, near by. Definily check it out, after all, ITS FREE! DUH

Finished RE5 yesterday, and it looks like that paranoid lunatic Albert Wesker is finally dead, yup!!!!!! :D So it looks like resident Evil might be over since the games bio-terrism was pretty much all linked to Wesker, and Irving & Spencer are dead, so.......they might be at a crossroads.......oh, and Jill Valentine IS ALIVE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, here are the top 5 weapons.

5. God of War 2 - Blade of Olympus

Anyone whosed played 5 minutes of this game knows this sword well, its the sword that drained Kratos' powers making him vulnerable to Zeus, it is also the blade you inadvertantly kill Athena with at the end of the game. This blade is what forced the Titans to there knees in the great war. With the power of a god, pouring through it, the Blade of Olympus shouldn't be taken lightly.....not that you could.

4. Xenosaga III - KOS-Mos' energy cannon

Even though i couldn't find an image, i did find the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR63tyVbZIE (skip to 3:20 if you like). KOS-MOS shows how strong she really is here, this cannon like blast of hers is unmatched by any other. So a piece of advice, don't piss this robotic chick off......EVER!!!!!!!!!

3. SoulCalibur IV - Soul Calibur Final Form

This Mystic and magical sword is unmatched by all, the only sword to rival it is Soul Edge but only match it....not surpass it. The final form seen in SCIV is its final(duh) and most dominate form of all forms it has taken over the years when held by dominate indivisuals. If you can't win a fight with this thing, just give up you wimo HA!!!!!!!!

2. Devil May Cry - Alastor

This Electrical sword was weld by Dante in the origonal DMC. This one of Dante's many Demonic weapons used to assist him in his mission to eventually avenge his father Sparda. In most hands, Aloster would be a formidable weapon..but in the hands of this lunatic, it's a killing machine that doesn't have an off switch.

1. Final Fantasy XIII - Lightning's GunBlade

Although this game isn't out yet, this young, atractive female protagonists weapon of choice has gotten alot of attention. This 2-in-1 blade is sleek and most likely powerful. And if Lightning is half as powerful as her blade looks, the bad guys are in serious trouble.

5. Yoshi & Luigi

Yoshi, a majorly cool concept on the origonal Super Mario Bros and fun to play as!!! Who wouldn't want to play as a small green dino who can gobble up enemies and spit em' back out!!! And Luigi is just as good as Mario!!!! Hell, the only difference is the color of their attire.

4. Clank & Daxter

Daxter was Jak's annoying wisecracking little ferret friend, always exagerating stories he told around women. Daxter was of little use except comical relief. Clank was alot less funny but much more useful. Clank, being a smart-alick of sorts, often got annoying but his gadgets sure do come in handy.

3. Farah & Elika

Farah was the helpful mamacita from Sands of Time, she was supossed to be this helpful combat induced warrior, of course like most AI, she kinda got in the way.....luckily she wasn't perminate. Elika on the other hand knew how to keep up while staying out of the way, plus with Elika near by you can't die, she always pulls ya back up.....COOL!!!!! Elika's magical variety and acrobatics make her a very useful sidekick, plus she ain't bad on the peepers ;)

2. Falco

Good ol' Team StarFox. Falco was one of McCloud's greatest allies over all these years(only recently outdone by the exotic Crystal). Falco always had Fox's back nomatter how dangerous the terrain. Falco was, is, and will always be one of the best sidekick pilots in the gaming world.

1. Nero

Yeah, yeah, yeah.....technically Nero was a full blown protagonist, but when compared to Dante, Nero IS a sidekick. Nero had some good points, but Dante will always be the no. 1 focus in DMC. Dante is a blood relation to the big man, Nero only got infected. So put Nero in a role simular to Trish's......Mmmmm, Trish......

5. DMC Portable canceled

OK, not a big surprise but it still hurts :( . I mean they did God of War for the PSP, why not Devil May Cry!!!!!!!!!! :cry: So, after this, we DMC addicts(and proud to be one)are forced to confide in DMC4. And after this sad news they better put DMC1 (BUT NOT DMC2!!!!) on the PSN. And i know this isn't an actual game moment.....but screw you its my list:twisted:

4. Jun's Disappearence

After Tekken 2 we were introduced to Jin Kazama(the son of Kazuya & Jun). We still have Kazuya and his devil side....but Jun has yet to be seen! She just disappeared off the face of the earth, they won't even tell us if she's dead or not.....although she probably is. They need to give us some closure after all these years, TELL US!!!!!

3. Zack's Death

Alright, we all knew Zack was dead after Final Fantasy VII, but after Crisis Core.....they made us miss him more than ever. They made us get to know him while we knew very well what his fate was. This actually made his departure 10X times sadder, but also made Cloud's scene on the train 10X more epic....RIP Zack Fair, now Sony.....either remake FFVII for the PS3 or release it as a PS1 classic on the PSN already(screw MS)

2. Jin's Death

{This is Jin Uzuki NOT Jin Kazama}

All of us Xeno freaks here on GS remember the brother of Shio, Jin. He was strong, loyal, and trustworthy. He perished protecting the rest of the party from a Gnosis attack while Chaos seved everyone. Jin was stabbed in the line of duty......and we all miss him.

1. Palom and Porom's Sacrifice

In Final Fantasy IV, the hero, Cecil, looked to redeem his actions by becoming a Palidin(a wight knight who fights for light) . We was joined in his journey by twin child mages, Palom & Porom. After Palidin Cecil, Palom, Porom, and the rest of the party became trapped in the castle of the lands "imposter" King, the walls of a hallway the heroes are trapped in begin to close in. In a last act of Heroism, the twins petrify themselves(a spell that turned them to stone) to stop the walls so everyone else can escape. This act of bravery cost them there young lives, they are missed!!!!!! :cry:
