I got my 40gb PS3 on January 16th of this year (08). Today, I was playing Folklore, went into another area, and the game never stopped loading. I restarted my PS3 and it wouldn't recognize any of my games or music cds. What a huge disappointment! I got GTA:4 on the release date and now I have to wait what sounds like two or more weeks to get my PS3 sent in and repaired or replaced.

These failing PS3s have the same expiration date... about 4 months after purchase. Sony should give us a free game or one of the new controllers. I'm really disappointed-- never had a system break on me before.

Resistance was mediocre and KZ2 multiplayer is only a clone of Battlefield BC without the vehicles.

First off the yellow light 'of death' happens to less than 1% of ps3 owners and I've never even heard of this problem. Sorry for posting when I have no idea how to help but I wanted to clear that up :)

you complain too much ^^ if you're so impatient just log out and log in and it will be there. and i remember when i was playing i just randomly seen the chief seargent trophy but i passed that level a while back, so just be patient it shouldn't even be 15 minutes into another game. :S
