Really really early attempts here, but I'm trying to remake a song from a video game I used to play a lot when I was a kid, Super Mario RPG. I'm taking a song that's otherwise pretty mellow and making it a rock song. Check it out if you want, but I'm not sure anyone who would read this would be familiar with the original song. :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKAHe1_2H9s

Obsession..

With CSI: Miami... I can't stop watching. It's funny though, from the day I bought my first DVD of Roseanne (Season 3 to be exact) it was pretty much the only show I watched for almost a year. I remember I was halfway through watching a Will & Grace DVD when I got the Roseanne DVD, I took out W&G and still have not finished it to this day. I was so captivated by Roseanne, I went out and bought the other seasons quickly and bought the rest as soon as they came out. Now I've been watching other shows.. Not that I don't like Roseanne anymore, it's still in my top 3 favorite shows. I just seriously overdosed on it. I watched the entire series at least 3-4 times in it's entirety (not to mention how many times I've watched specific episodes that I really enjoy,) and after watching the series finale, it wouldn't take long for me to put in Disc 1 of Season1 and start over. But, I just didn't really feel like starting over again after watching Season 9 recently. I've really been into crime dramas lately, particularly CSI:Miami and Law & Order: SVU. I'm so glad I have the DVR thing on my cable box, so I can just record all the episodes and watch them when I please. Will I go back and watch Roseanne again? No question, I will for sure. I did the same thing with Friends a few years ago, and recently watched the entire series again and really enjoyed it. So Roseanne, I hope you don't think I'm cheating on you.. I just wanted to see what else is out there... ;)

Old pic of me

My mom and I were going through some old pictures we had forgot about for years, and we found this one. I sorta look mad. I think I was 15.

My cat...

My cat is getting put to sleep on Monday. We've had her for about 18 years, I don't remember her ever not being around. But in the last few years she's had a lot of bad stuff happen to her. She has like AIDS, skin cancer, arthritis, and most recently, kidney failure. She's been in a lot of pain and, my mom thinks, has been suffering for a while now. My mom has had a really hard time deciding what to do, but she just made the call to have her put down. I don't really know what to think about it. I'm a little sad and upset about it, but I don't really feel like breaking down and crying... Maybe that will happen eventually. I really feel for my mom though, she's had to watch her father, her good friend, and now her cat pass away all within 2 years. I know she will be OK, but it's going to be hard watching her be upset about it. All I can do is remember that she'll be in a better place, I guess.. http://img467.imageshack.us/img467/8976/hedo1ao1.jpg

Twenty.

Today is my birthday. I turned 20... Feels strange not being a teenager anymore. Not necessarily bad, that age group gets a bad rep, but it's strange. When I was a kid I figured I would have my life set in stone by the time I was 20, but I'm really still just figuring it out. I'm glad to be through with those days though. High School sucked and all my "friends" turned out to be jerks. Plus I wasn't exactly Mr. Popularity -- I've never got drunk or high; When my friends were going to parties, I was going to church, or just hanging out at home. The people from my high school would call me a loser and say I'm missing out on something great by staying away from that stuff, and for never having a girlfriend. I guess I'm a little bummed out today. Not because I think turning 20 is bad, or that I regret not doing any of the things above, but I don't know. I guess I figured by the time I was 20 I would have done more with my time, have my life at least partially planned out. Turns out I am just sort of hanging out, which is OK I guess. But, I think God has a plan and maybe I'll start to figure it out before I turn 30. Well, I'm gonna buy myself something to brighten the day a bit. Have a good day everyone. :)

Survey..taken from Sparkle's blog

1. If you could change your first name, what would you change it to? Corey. My mom's 2nd choice for my name. 2. What word do you use to much? Dude 3. If you could be another person for a week, who would it be? Queen of England. Get paid to do nothing! 4. Three interesting things you have in the fridge: Here comes something extremely nerdy: I have an original plain M&Ms package, when it said "Plain" instead of Milk Chocolate. When I found out they changed it, I bought one that said Plain and have kept it in the freezer for years now. Also, we've had this box of potstickers for I don't know how long.. I think they're older then me. I guess that's only 2, but my fridge is sort of boring. 5. What TV show describes your life? Roseanne, except, not as funny or exciting, I guess. 6. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? Jeez, it's been a while. I think it was A Scanner Darkly. 7. I'd just die if they cancelled... My internet connection. 8. You're allowed one super power. What would it be? Shapeshifting. 9. Name a song and the memory you have attached to it. "Punk Rock Princess" by Something Corporate. It used to be a favorite song between me and my old best friend, who I no longer speak to. I always think of her when I hear the song (or most songs by that band, really.) 10. Who is your favorite stooge? Curly 11. What's your favorite thriller movie? Spaceballs. I'm thrilled every time I watch it ;) 12. What's the last good deed you did? I helped my mom around the house doing chores all day. 13. What's your most annoying habit? When I go out, I bring my wallet, phone, keys, a rubber wristband that looks like barbed wire, and a necklace with a cross on it. I can't go anywhere without having them on me, even if I'm just going somewhere where I won't need my wallet, etc. Also, I always feel my pockets to make sure I still have everything. I think I have minor OCD. 14. Would you rather be Miss/Mr. Congeniality or win the Swimsuit Competition? If I were to win a swimsuit contest, the world would surely be ending. 15. What's your favorite beauty product or bathroom product? Toilet paper or shampoo. 16. When I want to laugh I... Let loose. 17. A genie offers you 3 wishes. What do you wish for? The world's fastest metabolism, $100 million, and a really good video camera. 18. I've always wondered why... I didn't get an emblem for the Office chat! 19. What person, living or dead have you always wanted to meet? Dallas Taylor, my favorite singer. He's still alive. 20. If you could be one appliance, what would it be? A vacuum. Then I could just sit around and do nothing all the time (sorry Mom!!) 21. What do you secretly love reading? I read 3 different message boards about the show Roseanne daily. 22. What is your dream career? Musician in a famous band, or an actor. 23. What one word would you use to describe yourself? Right now.. Tired. 24. You landed the starring role in a movie opposite your favorite actor/actress, but the part requires you to do a nude scene. What would you do? Get a stunt double. 25.
