Depends how much force you use to open it. And if you had a DS lite, just to let you know, the DS lite's "click" was much more aggressive then the DSi's .
I don't believe so. I've tried it myself and I haven't found a way to do that without the SD card...I don't think the internal memory can take it. I'll let you know if I find a solution.
For people who have played a Dsi or own one, they can surely tell the difference between the clicking of the D-Pad/buttons of the system to the DS lite's smushy, soft inaudible buttons. Personally I like it better this way, so I have a clearconfirmation of what button/direction I pressed instead of pressing buttons several times to make sure the command is executed. So, I've been using the buttons and D-Pads quite often in my gaming, and I've always been paranoid that the sharp, crisp clicking when I first got my brand new Dsi would wear off....it's almost as if I can feel it happening already, like it's becoming "softer". Has the clickyness of the buttons/D-Pads decrease from use of your DSi? Is this normal?
It's much like buying new shoes, wearing them for a week, and braaking them in for a much more suited fit.
