Everyone's been raving about the storyline in the Metal Gear Solid series and I'm typically a narrative gamer; my favorite genres have always been RPG's as in my opinion, they would have the most fleshed out characters and emotional plotlines that would pull on my heart strings.

SO, having been recommended MGS 4, and then realizing that I would have to play all the MGS's to essentially understand the basis of theplotline,in what order do I play the games? Now, I am COMPLETELY new to MGS but I also have fond memories of watching my father play the first one on the PS1...other than that I have no idea where to start or what to do.

My friend was a real idiot and decided to make an account on my PS3 with a fake birthday and everything... he had forgotten his account details and is now requiring his birthday information. Is there any way to check the birthday? I've checked Account Management andit's not shown there.

I do not want my PS3 banned because of his stupid actions. :/

For that price, yeah. It's a pretty solid game. I haven't finished it or played it in awhile, but it was kinda cool.

Backlash24

That's good. Is there an intriguing/good storyline behind the game?

The storyline is great, and the combat is always interesting. The only downside of the game is that they artifically extended it by making it so you [can] play through each level as either character and there are rewards for beating the level with both ... Also it might be downside to you if you are against extremely linear stories.

Well I personally loved Final Fantasy XIII's story line and many call it linear and such. I can handle some repetition as well.

No trophies I'm assuming?

Saw Folklore brand new and sealed at Walmart for $20 canadian. Should I pick it up? I love RPGs with emphasis on narrative.

In my ever so honest opinion, I think people are assuming rather than knowing the full potential of these motion controllers. Kinect or Move - it doesn't matter. We haven't had the chance to utilize these pieces of technology ourselves and have no idea how they will compare to the Wii until they are released.

It's normal, don't worry. Having a 1 to 2 month old Ps3 slim should justify that.

Ratchet and Clank is a great series, but I got totally bored with it =/ (TOD, anyways). I guess I'm not a fan of it's easy platforming but I do enjoy it's charm. Fortunately, I think Mirror's Edge is easily the winning candidate given it's amazing art direction and unique gameplay.
