[QUOTE="Hikaru-119"]Live crushes PSN not to even mention 9/10 live players have headsets. The same cannot be said for PSN.

Plus we aren't even counting the fact that blu-ray is a gimmick that fails next to digital distributio, something MS is proving more and more to be a powerful medium.

Fact is MS has won this gen. FF XIII, MGS4, KZ2, none of these games will sell a million copies in a month let alone turn a profit anytime soon. Sony simply cannot afford a game like KZ2 where it cost 44 million, 125 devs, and 3 plus years of creation. Games like that could bankrupt their games division in a matter of years.

The_Crucible

That is a complete misnomer about the headsets. Quite acting like what you read from some other fanboy is fact. Its merely a weak and baseless attempt by lemmings to find something to show Live is "teh better" than PSN.

And then you talk about blu-ray being a gimmick. Yeah, movie studios buy into it thinking its just going to fade.... I'm sure smart-guys like you thought DVD was a gimmick too.

And Live has digital dist., yes. Are you saying PSN doesn't? Ever heard of Warhawk? Ever even been on PSN? Don't act like MS is the only one looking at digital distribution. If anything you should be wary of MS wanting to promote that so much.

And then you go into financials you have no clue about. Do you really think Sony doesn't know what they're doing? Seriously? I know they make mistakes but telling us they will go bankrupt over deving these games is ludicrous.

People on PSN have different headsets, with different qualities and most of the time have none at all.

Blu-ray's big selling point is the fact it can give you uncompressed audio and clear picture.

Digital ditribution can give an even clearer picture and won't be outdated when 1440p comes out. It's also cheaper, and everyone can get it with an online connection and a HDD. Nobody even knows or cares about Blu-ray but at least with Digital I don't invest money in a gigantic paper weight.

People like you dont ever get it.

Blu-ray is doomed...

even if it could make games bigger and more detailed its limited by the fact the PS3's 2x reader is so slow. Meaning all that extra space turns into the equal of a DVD9 for space.

[QUOTE="hellfire9988"][QUOTE="JinGodFist"]Congrats of your NPD  enjoy it while it lasts. You lems are setting yourselves up with the just wait crap. What will your argument be after the big hitters are released. If u keep it up, system wars will be hell for you after things turn around. So I suggest you stop acting the way you do:? PS3 will beat 360, no doubt about it. Its selling better in EU and JP, and its only a matter of time til PS3 overtakes 360 in america. Eddie-Vedder

If I am not mistaken, weren't "the big hitters" Warhawk, Lair, Ratchet, Heavenly sword, and Uncharted? Self ownage to the max.

lol? those are all new ip's... Big hitters are games that sell no matter how good they are like Halo, GT, MGS, FF...

MGS4 won't sell for crap just like MGS3 didnt on a freaking console with a 130 million userbase....so on a console with about 4-5...pfffft.

Whole PS3 lineup will fail because the consumers would rather buy planet Earth on Blu-ray than any PS3 games...but then again looking at the current library I would do the same.

Sony has already lost this gen. I don't see them investing in even one more triple A until KZ2 sales are out.

Futhermore, I think its funny that MS would screw Xbox owners by dropping support to get into 360 and then screw them again by driopping 360 so soon. And the lemmings like it. :lol:The_Crucible

wait. 2005 - 2011 = a short console lifespan?

Learn what you are talking about first.

Just because sony took one full year to get into the cosole war than another full year just to make one game worth owning doesnt mean the market will wait. Sony burned up two years while MS was busy making great games.

[QUOTE="black_awpN1"]LOL at you thinking PSN is terrible. havent you heard the phrase "dont count your chickens before their hatched"? ff7isnumbaone

compared to xbox LIVE? It is indeed TERRIBLE. There isn't even a unified friends list for god's sake. PSN is a good service alone, just TERRIBLE in comparison to LIVE. 2 of my friends got psn and ps3. 13 got 360 and 11 of those got live accounts. live is just better for friends

I dont know why you would pay for something like live. You already pay for Internet. LOL you guys keep telling yourself its this much better than psn to make yourself better about wasting money.

Whether you buy that mountain of BS from sony or not this gen will end when MS releases its next console in 3 years. So we ask ourselves...what console do we continue to invest in?

This defunct PS3 with a terrible online network or a 360 with an online that could easily carry into the coming generations. Not to mention games that rock (although many would lie and say they can play these games on their PC's lol)

Commmon sense dictates...so which console will you continue to invest in? One that places its very foundation on physical distribution? Or one that sees a new future where digital destroys physical? Me personally, I think Sony will continue to lie and noobs will contiue to follow...but in the end MS will prevail.

You guys have too much respect for the guy.

I sense Tupac Syndrome....

You weren't a fan until you had a reason to follow a herd...quit acting like the guy made a difference...most of the reviews that flopped your games were done by other reviewers...all of them credible.

Maybe I have some ungodly 360 (launch model that still works) but am I the only person who hasn't noticed any framerate problems or major glitches? And I think the combats a blast, especially on the higher difficulty (in this case veteran).PBSnipes
Me either....I have noticed however the game suffers from an acute case on random awesome...have you had this problem? My facial expressions lag as the awesome onscreen waits for me to catch up with a proper whoa.
