[QUOTE="Hikaru-119"]Live crushes PSN not to even mention 9/10 live players have headsets. The same cannot be said for PSN.Plus we aren't even counting the fact that blu-ray is a gimmick that fails next to digital distributio, something MS is proving more and more to be a powerful medium.
Fact is MS has won this gen. FF XIII, MGS4, KZ2, none of these games will sell a million copies in a month let alone turn a profit anytime soon. Sony simply cannot afford a game like KZ2 where it cost 44 million, 125 devs, and 3 plus years of creation. Games like that could bankrupt their games division in a matter of years.

That is a complete misnomer about the headsets. Quite acting like what you read from some other fanboy is fact. Its merely a weak and baseless attempt by lemmings to find something to show Live is "teh better" than PSN.
And then you talk about blu-ray being a gimmick. Yeah, movie studios buy into it thinking its just going to fade.... I'm sure smart-guys like you thought DVD was a gimmick too.
And Live has digital dist., yes. Are you saying PSN doesn't? Ever heard of Warhawk? Ever even been on PSN? Don't act like MS is the only one looking at digital distribution. If anything you should be wary of MS wanting to promote that so much.
And then you go into financials you have no clue about. Do you really think Sony doesn't know what they're doing? Seriously? I know they make mistakes but telling us they will go bankrupt over deving these games is ludicrous.
People on PSN have different headsets, with different qualities and most of the time have none at all.
Blu-ray's big selling point is the fact it can give you uncompressed audio and clear picture.
Digital ditribution can give an even clearer picture and won't be outdated when 1440p comes out. It's also cheaper, and everyone can get it with an online connection and a HDD. Nobody even knows or cares about Blu-ray but at least with Digital I don't invest money in a gigantic paper weight.
People like you dont ever get it.
Blu-ray is doomed...
even if it could make games bigger and more detailed its limited by the fact the PS3's 2x reader is so slow. Meaning all that extra space turns into the equal of a DVD9 for space.
