Big guy with the heavy long coat was very intense as the other was more "detective skully" in X-Files type of thing...We still havn't been introduced to the other 2 characters so I feel the game should even out

I own the Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72251
However, it gives me major migrains!!! I guess my ears are weak to bluetooth headsets, the minute I turn it on, the frequency level just gives me a really bad headache during gameplay. I'll be selling mine soon for a wired Logitech.
I'm from the PS2 era where I APPRECIATED playing MGS 2 and 3 without any online. I APPRECIATED spending countless hours on GTA San Andreas without the use of online. So in theory, if I didn't care much for the online before odds are I don't care for it as much now. Campain will always be my selling point when discussing a purchase.
Oh and i forgot about Heavy Rain Ethan Mars theme. Very good, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tSaWMrRlx4tommyas

Well deserved score! The game actually looks a lot better after the review and I can assure this purchase finally. I was a bit sceptical about the online but my questions were answered appearantly and it DOES look addicting.
I would prefer no cutscenes. I would always skip cutscenes if there wasn't a chance that I would get lost/confused during gameplay. I don't really care about story at all, I just want gameplay, gameplay, and more gameplay. Whichis probably why I hate Final Fantasy and Metal Gear games, and I'm not interested in Heavy Rain at all.

Well I agree, sadly to say that I AM a MGS fan and it seems like Hideo wouldn't be stopping that any time soon, I'm just afraid it might refrain me from the franchise being that the cutsence are getting excessively lengthy..Time will tell I guess..
MGS4 is the only game I know that has overlong cutscenes, and not much gameplay. Overall, thats what failed in the game.
Gameplay is far more important in all games.

Which is why I feel certain games are "hurt" by the long cutscenes. However, other games like Uncharted 2 know how to mix both in while not making you feel like you've been dragged into a long cinematic sequence.
