Master Chief....It would have been better if he hadn't survived the entire series. It would have made for a better ending to the trilogy had he gone down in a blaze of glory.

Agreed my friend. I've came up with so many other alternative endings for a trilogy had he died in earlier events

We all have our "Damn I really hate this guy, I hope I get to kill him later in the game" moment when playing mainstream story driven games. Name the characters you wished lived and name another you hoped just died....some how XD

I would have wanted Liquid/Ocelot to live for the simple fact that I feel he's a hands down TOP 3 Villian. Keeping him out of future installments would pretty much break the game for me as a whole. IMO.

However,

L.J's friend/roomate in GTA IV, (The annoying Jamaican guy that answers the doors) really got EXTREMELY annoying and I would have loved it if once, just ONCE! had the chance to eliminate this guy.

LOL anyway, my choices are probably lame, but I'm more eager towards who you guys would pick.

I enjoyed them on the 360 and will be re-purchasing them on the PS3.

Assuming we've all experienced the master piece of Metal Gear Solid 4, I'm starting to notice more and more that cutscenes have become a game's main influence. If you think about it, no good game has poor cut scenes. As lengthy as MGS's cutscenes are, we can all agree that it took majority of the gameplay away. I'm not complaining one bit, I love the series, but my point is, do you think that future gaming are going to soley concentrate on a game's cutscenes or other non playable sequence. With Heavy Rain coming out, I see the same exact thing going on, and it seems like developers now are targetting that type of method in order to support a stronger story character build and/or story line. Do you prefer a game that is roughly about 60-%70 Video sequence and the rest actual gameplay?

I LOL'd. funny how people are disappointed thinking this was a "hot" consule thread. lol Though the idea of having my Slim with jugs will be amazing XD

My Slim is sitting perfectly ventilated within in my home entertainment set up. I'll notice that after an hour of gameplay the top left back side of the consule gets extremely hot. According to Sony, "...Slim's hardware was built to use up less energy and run much cooler". Really? When I had my old 60gb the unit stayed pretty brisk (although the damn fan kicked at level 5 in between 15 to 20 minutes of gameplay :evil:) Has this Slim heating situation happen to any of you new Slim owners?
