I've been through a few gaming forums and I have to say, majority of the people in this GameSpot forum are "insecure" or ignorant about their systems. The minute someone posts a "I have a new XBOX360" or I have a new PS3" Thread, there's always someone there to destroy that persons moment. There's absolutly no love or mutual care for one another. I'm 25 myself, and I can clearly say it's obnoxiuous to what I've read. Gamespot members used to help each other out on new upcoming titles or purchases, now it's just a bash fest. Even worst, it's the younger crowd bashing, and if you are of age, shame on you. First time ever posting in system wars, but I have to say, I'm done with the negativity you guys have. Learn more about your consoles and games, before ever bashing someone else. It's immature and quite irritating at this point. No fanboy here, so If you own a Xbox360 good s*** if you own a PS3 rock on! Let's game peacefully .... ok bye

**UPDATE** The PS3 came in and had a damaged Blue Ray Player. Games worked fine but could not read movies, I've tried Spider Man 3 and Dark Knight, both unread. Anyhoo, I returned it and will be buying a brand new Slim 120gb tomorrow. Note for my fellow future potential PS3 owners, NEVER BUY FROM EBAY REGARDLESS IF THEY HAVE 334534 RATING AT %100. Take it from me, I learned. Look forward to my NEW Slim tomorrow! :)

Sad truth is not everyone will be impressed by one of the best games this generation and of all time so far.

Do you expect an 8yr old to understand and like the metal gear solid universe?
The same to casual gamers and even very elderly gamers...

No matter how many times you play it, the game is still a masterpiece.

I know a little off topic but, any word on ZOE 3?

It's an excellent series overall I have yet to pick my copy up. I still own "Snake's Revenge" for NES/MGS1/MGS2/MGS3 and this is one I have yet to unravel. Good stuff man. And for the TC I agree with the people who are going to "hate" are going to be those who continuously pay $60 on lame titles that show little to no improvement within a 3 year span. Ef' them. :P

Hmm Got me thinking I have 5 360 games 2 of which are listed on that list (Halo ODST and NBA 2k10) will I be getting more by doing this promotion for the 2 games and trading in the other 3 for store credit? other 3 are Gears of war 2, GTA IV and Call of Duty 4. I want to leave Gamespot with the following PS3 versions of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, MGS 4 and GTA 4 is this possible?

It's the model with backwards compatibility. Yes, it's in need only because I need to replay Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner and MGS1 which I've owned brand new sealed and have not opened. Can this model even play those games? I hear it can only play a few.

yeah if its in american def since the new slim costs 300 an older model should def be cheaper. on ebay i wouldnt buy one for more than 200 actually. It sounds like the seller is trying to sell that ps3 and go get a slim. So instead of giving them that money just go get a slim.
