Nah, I think I'll pass to be honest. I'm trying to stay at $1,000 after shipping with a nice combo deal on that mobo, and the P45 looks fine enough for me. I mean, its gonna be a big improvement anyway...gamerwiz09
Of course the higher end ATI card will beat the lower end Nvidia card and newer technology beats older. What I don't understand is why he thinks it is such a victory seeing two of ATI's card xfired to beat one of Nvidia's.
Takes two 4870s to be better than 1 gtx280 meaning you'll have to purchase an extra graphics card + having better mobo + having better cooling for those badboys = costing more than it would for a gtx280. Best single card gpu out right now
your going towant your dual core speed to be about 2.5 to run crysis 2.0 is a big bottleneck. playing on vista to be safe id have 3 gigs of ram.
now, graphics card, i run 1680 x 1050 at very high .. bout 35 fps with two 980gtx's in sli, i dont know if you could get off playably on high with a single 9800 but you prob will with some things like textures on medium and most on high, if you want you could blow for a gtx 280, or you can get SLI 9800's
your PSU is going ot need an upgrade if you want a new GPU.. 305 watts wont cut it, for the gpu's i mentioned above, especially 280 or sli 9800's ur gonna want 650 watts + reccomended 700.

High is good enough for me, I dont want very high.
[QUOTE="Horny-Dude"][QUOTE="slyr114"]i am getting 8gbs of ram because i am going to install vista 64bit anyway so why not it is so cheap so get all 8slyr114
