yes you can upgrade to the hard drive if you get the core and yes you need one for xbl downloads. the hard drive costs 100 dollars to purchase, which instantly renders the core meaningless, if you plan to upgrade

Heres a list that pretty much sums up what you have to look forward to till the end of july, august is a whole other league of games.
Forza 2
shadowrun
call of jaurez
the darkness
tenchu z
dirt
overlord
two worlds
and mass effect should be out in the next couple of months. (the last game informer confirmed it for july)
i got the core a year ago and had to buy a memory card as well. The core is good for casual gamers and i was happy with it at first. But once i got the urge to play on live i wanted a hard drive for marketplace and downloading demos, also i wanted to start gaming on an hd tv so i needed to get the component cables. My core recently broke and now im going to buy a premium.
So if you dont care about xbl, Hd, or wirless controlers than the core is right for you, but if you plan to upgrade in the future ur better off with the premium
in gow im havin trouble getting this achievment, i cant really figure out a good way to kill so many guys at once aside from a lucky nad throw. The only thing i can think of, which i havent tried yet, is to throw a nad into an emergence hole as a few enemies start to pop out.
well the darkness comes out sooner, so as of now im looking more forward to the darkness. If they both came out at the same time, i think id go with...i really cant choose, i would just be a man and buy both
