OMG 4 words for you.....Storm Front Banner Completed

"It's been fifty-leven days, um-teen hours" Usher - Burn

Wow but it's finally done :D it seems like I've been working on this for months when it's really been....*looks at calendar*.....well I'll be...it has been months. :P ummm. well the point is it's finished. If you are reading this now, most likely you are already a member of my UCB so feel free to check out the New Official Banner. Those of you who have chosen a video game character to represent yourself, you can find yourself on the banner. And I guess you can also try to figure out who everyone else is. Have fun with that :P unless you check out the Official Storm Front Banner thread it should be an interesting challenge. Some people are on there that didn't post who they were going to be in the thread but informed me about who they were going to be in other ways. For them it will be more difficult but challenging as well. Anyway I'm sure most of you have already went to go check it out and stopped reading already :P
anyway this is reason enough to celebrate :D *starts happy dance*

Oh, by the way, this is three consecutive journal entries :P

I saw Batman Begins...Finally!!!

Whooo Hooo I finally saw Batman Begins :D now let's see about those predictions....number one came true, It was a great film. I can see why people loved it so much because I did as well. As for number two. Nobody kicked my chair this time :D but that might also be because there were only about 10 other people in the theater, but it was a relief none the less :D

Ok about number three. lol with only 10 other people in the theater I still heard talking during the movie. lol I guess you can't win them all :P And number four I didn't let that bother me. I'm thinking all the most annoying people must have been watching The Island instead or something.

Ok for all of you that have seen it, thanks for all the good recommendations that you've given me. I know some of you have been waiting a long time for me to see it :P For those who haven't yet seen it I will confirm what everyone else has already said about that movie. It really is better than the original Batman. And the original Batman was one of my favorites. I never thought that they could make a Batman film just as good as that, but to be better, that makes this movie a must see. :D

Oh and as a side note, this is probably the first time in history that I have posted back to back entries

Going to see Batman Begins tomorrow....I think

I'm finally going to go see it after all this time :P At least I hope so. The last time I went to go see it I saw War of the Worlds instead. So anything could happen. Sometimes I change my mind on what I'm going to see at the last minute and that's what happened last time. I'm sure this time there's a 75% chance that I will go see Batman Begins and not Fantastic Four or The Island.

I predict several things for this movie:

  1. That it will be great.
  2. Someone will kick my chair.
  3. Someone will talk during the movie or ask a question to someone else within the vicinity of me.
  4. That I won't let that ruin the movie for me.

With that said, what predictions do you think will come true? And have any of you experienced annoying things like that in the theater?

Am I addicted to buying games and not beating them?....maybe

Even though I still have a lot of unbeaten games I just picked up Conker: Live & Reloaded. That's another notch to add to my list of now playing games.

Ok here's how it usually goes. I buy a new game, play it about half way, then I buy a new game before I've had a chance to beat the older game. It's like an endless cycle. It's a fun cycle for a bit but I may have to start beating these games one by one in order to get out of it. Starting with one of the older games on the list, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, which I'm really close to completing. After that they should all drop like flies since I'm in the middle of just about all of them. This would be a good time to be able to freeze time just so I would be able to complete this task within my lifetime :P I guess technically I have completed DOA: Ultimate since I unlocked everything and beat the story mode with everyone on Very Hard, so that's a small win.

Next up on my list of games to beat:

Devil May Cry 3
Metal Gear Solid 3
Resident Evil 4
Jade Empire

X-Men Legends

Caffeine, my old friend....

....I'm still staying away from you :P. Well it's been seven whole weeks since I started this little experiment and I must say it was tough at first. Headaches and other things like not being able to stay awake as easily made me think that I needed a Coke or something in order to make it through the day alive. Week one was a big challenge for me. I will say that the first couple of weeks is the hardest. But after that it gets a lot easier.

Thanks to all my friends who supported me throughout this time. Without you I'm not sure if I could have done it :)

Who knows how long this will last. Right now it's indefinite and if I ever miss the taste of Coke at least they have caffeine free. Although Starbucks Frappas are really tempting. There's almost no substitute for them I'm afraid :P but I'm happy with water though. :)

On my lunch break......

I went to EB and picked up a couple things. The first thing I got was the Halo 2 Multiplayer map pack. At first it looked like they didn't have anymore left, but they found one that was supposed to be reserved for someone else. Since he didn't pick it up on time they let me buy it. Whoo Hooo :D, sorry about him though but when you snooze you lose :P

While I was in line several things were going on in the background that make me feel glad not to work in a place like that. There was this guy with a skateboard in the store who kept standing on it, which I guess is a big no no. since the person that was helping me had to tell him a couple times to pick it up. On top of that there was this lady that cut about 5 other people in line without realizing it, and when she was told about it she got an attitude. All of this really slowed down my checkout process, which as I mentioned in my topic title was during my lunch break so I was pretty hungry.

The other game I got was Star Wars: Battlefront for Xbox, I've been waiting for that game to go down in price for a while now and it was pretty cheap, about $16 since I had a discount there on used games. I finished my purchase and got out of there after what seemed like about a half hour but was really about ten minutes. I went to Subway after that and got some much needed lunch. :P It was pretty good, ever since Subway got Coke I was happy, bah it's too bad I'm not drinking that anymore :P Oh well, I think it's healthier now.

This entry made me think of something. How many of you have been stuck behind someone in a line that took forever? Or have had the person take forever while you are trying to make your purchase? It happens to me a lot but I'm rarely the one that's taking a long time. It seems like I always get stuck behind the slowest person in line.

Final Fantasy & Anime Union Banner

lol I'm really behind on my updates, But I entered into the banner contest at the FF & AU and I won the contest. It took a couple weeks to make If you add in the research that I did along with putting it all together. I'm happy with the way it turned out. And now that it's finished I can concentrate on the other projects that I've been working on.

Here is the banner I created for the Union. If anyone wants to join this union, click on the banner.

Here's the link If you'd rather see the whole thing. FF & AU Banner

Oh and extra points if you can name all of these characters.

Friends list cleaning

I've been meaning to do this for a while now but I tend to get distracted with other things at times :P People who really know me should know that by now. Most of my friends on here have nothing to worry about especially if we've spoken before or if we talk on a regular basis. If anyone wishes to remain on here you can post in here or send me a PM. I don't really know a specific number I'm going down to. I'm thinking about 30, or maybe more depending on how many want to stay on my list. Most other people have done it several times. This is my second time trying to shorten my friends list. I'll wait a few days before I start though. :)
